Location wise it is good as it comprises a good amount of trees, shrubs and herbs as it's hard to find such a patch of greenery in Bangalore these days in the vicinity of 30km from center of the city. Also you can find a lot of birds in the morning and evening perching on trees, flying and chirping all the time. Rooms are moderately distant to maintain privacy and aesthetics appeal on first glance. And it is thoughtful at their part to lay down some of the benches in and around the property, near the lake, near the camp fire etc.. These are some of the pros to jot down.
There are many cons which the property owner must need to address like information, service, food and surely the cost.
We had booked a octogen tent and on the premise we immediately realised when we reached the property that is not at all possible to get in the tent as it's scorching hot at check-in time and when we asked about it, the manager told us we can only get in at around 6, 6:30 in the evening, which we felt could have been told before booking. Although eventually, on the request, and with couple of hours delay, we were able to change it to a wooden room.
When we reached, the manager, Manju informed us that he will explain everything about property, stay and activities etc... Which didn't happen at all and he seemed busy inequitably attending others without considering first come first serve basis.
The menu is fixed, taste is subjective though the serving vessels are not refilled in time which was cumbersome to ask everytime to refill. And the cost, we felt is high for the food.
The room we stayed was around 100 metres away, we requested some snacks to serve to the room, which they denied, which is an obvious inconvenience.
We would not have complained about stay and service, may be, but the price for such a small room(which is even small for 2 adults without any convenience like space, storage etc..) with limited service and fixed food, per person costed ~5.5k, is atrocious, and we were three. Also blankets and pillows were missing for the the third occupant, which we only had to call late in the night after realising and get it with the wait of 30 mins.
And to add one more thing, as conveyed earlier that no rules were briefed to us. We wanted to have the dinner outside, and when we were at the gate at 9pm to go out, the security guard conceitedly telling us that we have to come back before 10pm or otherwise gate can not be opened. And made us to take the permission from the manager, which made us furious, which was again not an experience you want to have when you paid so much only to loose freedom.
They have multiple options like Camper Van, Caravan, tent stays etc.. Which is good to experience as we Indians seldom do it, but be mindful about the price and think twice before you go, because for the price, you can stay at other luxurious places than this...
Read moreThis is quite a new place and Had been to this place on a weekday,it was not crowded. We had booked the TINY BLUE ONE room. There are other types of rooms available. You can check it out in their website
ROOM : We choose the Tiny Blue One Container. Loved the room. Its a container room which has a spacious bed for two, a kitchen wash basin, filtered drinking water, washroom, AC, Fan, some books to read, lots of space to keep your luggage and a porch.
AMBIENCE: The room has a very good view out looking the greenery and the lake. It has a peaceful vibe. Since this room has a private porch, it gives you good place to chill. It is in a quiet area so no sound of traffic etc.
FOOD: The food was tasty. Compared to other resort kind of places, the dinner and breakfast had minimal number of items. But since the pricing for the food was also minimal, we had no issues with the number of items. Lunch and dinner was served on additional charges. Lunch had items like chicken fry, veg gravy, puri, ghee rice, rice, sambar, papad, rasam and curd rice. Dinner had items like rice dal, roti, chicken gravy, veg gravy. Breakfast had items like idli sambar , vada, chutney, papaya, coffee and tea. Its a buffet system.
AMENITIES: Badminton, cricket, jenga, uno, chess are provided without additional charges. Bon fire area, beautiful lake, bird watching, fishing, barbeque grill and ample parking space is available.
BOOKING: They take bookings online only on the website. We paid Around 6100 for accommodation and complimentary breakfast. Lunch was Rs. 391 per person. Even dinner was the same price.
Note: +Since the place is located in the middle of greenery, I would recommend you carry mosquito repellent and mosquito bat to keep flies and mosquitoes away. We always kept our room door closed past 6pm coz we didn't want the bugs entering the room but there were still a few bugs that entered the room so we used the mosquito bat to get rid of them +I would totally recommend the place for people who want to have some peace and quiet. This is quite suitable for couples as well as for friends and family. The road to this location is a tar road but at certain places the road is quite small hence car would be recommended. Anything bigger than a car would be difficult to take especially if a car comes in the opposite direction, then there is very less space. +Alcohol is not served but you can...

Our stay in the yellow container was a unique experience, but a few major issues significantly affected our comfort. While the idea of a container stay is appealing for its compact and cozy atmosphere, the cleanliness and service quality fell short of expectations.
First, the room was not very clean. The bed headboard, the gap between the bed and the window and under the bed had dust and pet fur, which was concerning, especially as we brought along our pet cat. Cats are naturally curious and tend to explore every corner, and a cleaner environment would have let us enjoy our time without worry.
Another problem was the continuous noise from grass-cutting in the afternoon, which went on till evening. It was disruptive for both us and our pet, who was visibly stressed. We reached out to the manager, and thankfully, the noise stopped after we complained.
The bedding provided was also uncomfortable. It was a spring mattress that caused both my partner and me to wake up with back pain, making it difficult to get restful sleep.
As if that wasn’t enough, we discovered a cockroach in our room in the middle of the night, which added to our discomfort.
We ordered food from the in-house kitchen with mixed results. The chicken nuggets were fine, but the French fries were incredibly salty, to the point where we had to dust off each fry before eating. However, dinner was much better—both the chicken chili and vegetable fried rice were tasty, with generous portions and fair prices.
Our cat couldn’t relax at all and stayed on high alert, likely due to lingering animal scents due to fur lying around, which we feel could have been avoided with better cleaning. This stress ultimately led us to check out early at 4 a.m. Unfortunately, that process didn’t go smoothly either. We had informed the security about our early departure, and they assured us it would be fine. But when it came time to leave, the gate wasn’t opened promptly, causing further frustration. Eventually, another guard helped us, but the situation could have been handled more professionally.
Overall, this place has potential but needs substantial improvements. Cleanliness, better bedding, and prompt customer service are crucial. A few additional touches like improved lighting at night and providing basics like dishwashing liquid, a scrub pad, and a wiping cloth would also...
