Chikkamane Homestay — Hotel in Karnataka

It's beautifully located at a serene destination with easy accessibility. The rooms have extended balconies that offers endless hill and lake views. There's ample space in the property to stroll around and also a standard size Pool. They do arrange for bonfire in the evening. The rooms have ample natural light and air. We couldnt even realise tht there was no power in the room (due 2.some circuit break) fr nearly an hour untill I wanted to charge my phone. The property must offer some basic amenity like toothpaste, soap, water glass , jugs etc. which was not there but was provided after asking for.

Lunch and Dinner can be arranged upon prior intimation to the staff. Best part about that is one gets local home food at almost 30% less than outside restaurant price . Both veg and non-veg food is availble.

The food was hygienically prepared also. We were the only family to stay there as it was a weekday one night stay. Ofcourse the weekends tends to be more occupied and busy.

Over all its was one of my best stay in hill stations and deifinitely a place to come back !!! ....and Ohh not 2 forget they do have a very very friendly Golden Retriever 🐕‍🦺who's there to play around with anyone and everyone...Hope to be back again may b...

While the room was passable, the food at this homestay was the worst I have ever experienced. I strongly advise against ordering any food from this establishment. They offered a 1kg BBQ chicken for 900 INR, but what was served was not BBQ chicken at all. Instead, it was a few pieces of kabab, merely heated in a tikka pan and labeled as BBQ. The portion was meager, consisting of only about 10 very small pieces, far from the 1kg promised.

Despite our complaints both at the time of the meal and during payment the next day, the staff did not make any effort to address our concerns or adjust the price. Additionally, the staff member we interacted with was extremely unprofessional and rude, further tarnishing our experience. Wonderful Homestay Experience

From the moment we arrived, the warmth and hospitality of the homestay were unparalleled. The staffs went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, making us feel right at home. The accommodation was cozy, clean, and well-maintained, providing a perfect blend of traditional charm and modern amenities.
