Dandeli Jungle Retreat Homestay - Joida — Hotel in Karnataka

It was our 1st trip to Dandeli and 1st experience to stay in tent house within the closed vicinity of dense jungle. Myself being a photographer, me and my family were with a great expectations and enthusiasm to take up this adventurous family trip. The jungle “Jungle Retreat Homestay”, has come true to all our expectations and completely fulfilled to our satisfaction. I would categorise my trip as below -

1. Dandeli as a destination- Its and unexplored jungle and a must visit place if want to get away from city hassle. It’s a must go destination for Nature lovers, photographers, adventure lovers and off course for family and friends reunion.
2. Jungle Retreat Homestay- It’s a awesome place closed to (1km) secured core area Kali Tiger reserve. This Homestay is spread in an area of 2.5 acres, completely protected and fenced all round. The location is beautiful with two boundary fence sharing dense jungle, other to farmland. Tents, beds and its washrooms are very well maintained, hygienic and clean. The Homestay have lot of open space to play for children, swings, trampoline etc.
3. The entire staff - The owners Suraj, Suraj’s father and Vishu are really good in person and are always ready to help and guide you through all your queries about jungle, nearby places etc. The kitchen and housekeeping staff is equally helpful and courteous.
4. Food - The food is good and healthy as it is purely homemade style and can be customised as per our need.
5. Adventure Package - Whatever package is offered during booking is very well taken care to our satisfaction.
6. Photographers and Nature lovers- You need to align with Mr. Vishu as he is a person who knows in and out of this dense jungle. Through knowledge of flora and fauna of this jungle. He is multilingual (Marathi, Hindi, Konkani,...

Enjoyed a lot with family we were 10 adults and 5 kids total 15 members ,was little worried before visiting this place as it was new setup I had visited Bison Resort and Hornbell resort Dandeli few years back but trust me I had a wonderful experience then those resorts. Suraj the host and the owner of Jungle retreat is simple awesome ,he ensured our family were enjoying and had arranged all water activities with all safety measures ,coming back to stay at Jungle retreat was new experience in Safari tent and Swiss tent was amazing ,you don't need AC or fan .Food was lip smacking as it was traditionally cooked on firewood, we asked for Goan Soal Kadi it was new for them and not in their menu but he arranged for it and was very taste .Evening bon fire in the cool breeze with hot sip of tea and onion pakoda was nice combination, music and colourful flash light added the Josh in all and even elderly family member danced without even caring for themselves .Morning breakfast was Neer dosa with coconut chatni red chillies chatni was yum. His father is down to earth and his friendly staff cooperated with us, our family members all enjoyed the stay and planning for next visit very soon. SURAJ KEEP IT UP, it's was super hospitality in short...

If u r a nature lover...this is the place to be....One of the most breathtaking place I've ever seen...soooo wild nd green..we loved the way d resort has been build and Maintained...by preserving all the ancient trees ...being woken up by music of nature is an unparalleled experience....as for the roaring ,thundering ,gushing waterfalls...its something that can give u boundless joy...a memory u will carry in ur heart forever...awesome staff...wonderful food....nd the bestest part is no network....so even our phones are silent...as u cross in to the gates of Jungle Retreat u leave d noisy hustle and bustle of the world behind..nd be just with our loved ones nd ourselves nd d dazzling Jungle Retreat ❤ Thnk you so much to Jungle...
