Dandeli Resorts , Century | Luxury Stay — Hotel in Karnataka

Worst place to visit with Family; We are 20 people family group visited on 7th Apr for a night stay and none of us were happy you will get 5-10 bad reviews written from today for your behaviours and services during our stay! Firstly, there's no co-ordination between booking guys and kitchen head!, while booking I requested for some snaks during evening with extra charges, while the booking guys agreed but the kitchen head says he can not provide that!! Simply denied our request and told me the booking guys are bunch of idiots as he was unhappy for serving 200 Modicare MLM guys as against their 90 people booking! Lunch on 7th was disaster they started serving at 2.30pm! and all the Modicare meeting guys poured in and there was chaos for food! there was only one non-veg item, ie some chicken masala and the Fish fry was emptied as and when it arrived! The kitchen guys blamed modicare guys, But the guests had to siphoned off whatever was left on the table!! Very bad experience on first hit! -The rooms were not cleaned on request also, the dormitory is very tiny fitting 8-10 people. I heard some people paid Rs.2500 per head while we paid Rs.1800 per head and 900 for kids, the pricing is not consistent. they simply charge randomly! Not trust worthy! -They have hardly any activites, other than small lake activites(olny 2 that is rope slide and boating) I did NOT find anything else working, total waste for Rs.1800! The firecamp was hilarious! They used small pieces of carpentry wooden pieces to lit up! that's it ! it was all over in 30min to an hour max! NO wooden logs are used here. -Rain dance starts at 7.30pm! what a time to start! These guys does NOT know how to manage a resort and keep the guests come back. They have two resorts in dandeli, beware to visit them! They're okay with Modicare meetings and not bothered...

Completely isolated resort with very humble and cooperative staff.

This resort is located right in woods keeping ample distance with neighborhood resorts.

Food: 5 out of 5 The resort offers all meal covered packages and the start service is sharp at mentioned timing. Lots of options in Veg and Nonveg menu, buffet breakfast and meals are served here. Food is carefully prepared, well designed menu for balance hi energy diet and included local veggies in meals. There are good variations between meals here so that we have new and delightful experiences in each meal course.

All dishes are perfectly spiced, delicious in taste and seasoned at perfection. It shows the experience, expertise and dedication of the cooking team.

Rooms: 4 out of 5 We opted for the Maharaja tent. Tent looks Royal but has a humidity issue (acceptable) due to covered atmosphere. Washrooms are basic as tent has. It need better maintenance to keep things up to mark. Personally I suggest to go for a room that offers better ventilation and natural breeze rather than an AC environment in the tent.

Activities: 4 out of 5 There is pond cum lake inside the resort offers kayak, boat ride, zip line activities. Activities area can be improvised but it's a choice to opt in or go for activities right in the river. If you are concern about best activities experience, please exclude activities here and go for eco park activities in open river. (Costs are reasonable) all activities like boating, kayak are approx 300 to 400 Rs per person at eco park.

I visited this place to have a peaceful holiday with my wife in the jungle. Initially I booked for 3 days. ||||After we checked in, we found this place is just something what we were looking for. It is situated amidst western ghats in a think jungle||Inside It has full lush greenery around, well maintained lawn around the pool which made the whole atmosphere cool. ||||The food served was of excellent quality. Rajesh is a main chef here and has very good culinary skills. We stayed in Maharaja Tent which was well maintained. The staff were very cordial.||||Rohit the resort manager looked after us very well and he has maintained the property well.||||Kali river point near the resort is breath taking. The river water hurriedly gushing through the rocks makes such a wonderful sound that we went spellbound. ||||Lakshman, who use to take us around every day to morning walks through jungle has very good knowledge of different migratory birds nesting in this jungle. He also educated us on different types of trees which attract different birds||||We were so much awestruck by the beauty of this place and the delicious food that we cancelled our initial plan of visiting some other places and we extended our say by 3 more days.||||We being senior citizens, all staff took very good care of us. We felt like they are our extended family||||We returned with lots of beautiful memories and decided to visit this place again with other family members.||||If you are planning to visit Dandeli , this place is must stay...
