My family and I had the pleasure of staying at the Devatha Residency, near Dharmasthala, towards Ujire Road,Karnataka, and it was an experience that far exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived until our departure, the hospitality and warmth we received were unparalleled. The receptionist and especially the manager at the reception were outstanding in their roles. They welcomed and greeted us at every phase of our interaction with a level of professionalism and warmth that made us feel especially valued and cared for. Their attention to detail and genuine interest in ensuring our stay was comfortable and memorable set a high standard for customer service. The extra bedding system provided was excellent, accommodating our family's needs perfectly. It's rare to find a hotel that pays such close attention to the comfort of its guests, and Devatha Residency absolutely excels in this area. The amenities inside the room were just awesome, adding a touch of luxury and convenience to our stay. This was my family’s second time staying at Devatha Homestay, and my first. We had to stay in separate rooms on the second floor, and while the rooms and toilets were clean and well-maintained as usual, there were a few things that could be improved.

I had originally confirmed a room on the first floor directly with the owner, but unfortunately, someone booked it online through Make My Trip after our confirmation, leaving the owner helpless in accommodating us. This was a bit of a disappointment.

Additionally, there were quite a few insects in the rooms, which was bothersome. There wasn’t a convenient spot to use a kettle for preparing baby food, which would’ve been useful. The rooms, which can accommodate a maximum of 4 people with one bathroom, felt a bit pricey, especially considering there is no elevator (under construction).

My husband had stayed here last year with his parents on the first floor and had an amazing experience. The difference this time was noticeable.

The homestay is near Ganesh Kripa, a small restaurant where we had a poor breakfast experience. The food wasn’t up to the mark, and both the coffee and tea had an excessive amount of sugar. This was disappointing because my husband had enjoyed great food there last year, but this time it was just average.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Devatha Residency with my family in Dharmasthala, and my experience was nothing short of delightful. Here's a detailed review of my stay:

Location and Accessibility: The property fairly new amidst plush greenery all around and is located about 2 kms to the main temple which made an ideal choice for me. There is ample car parking space inside the property and hence did not worry about the safety of my vehicle.

Room and Comfort: The room was clean, spacious, and well-maintained. The bed was comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep after a long day's journey. The availability of hot water was a big plus for early morning temple visit.

Staff and Hospitality: The highlight of my stay was the hospitality of the staff Mr. Srinivas. He was polite, welcoming, and always ready to help. Mr. Rohit, the property manager was humble and kind enough to brief me about his property and he sent the location to ensure i reach the location hassle free prior to my arrival.
