First of all .. I noticed they have not responded for any negative reviews... I'am writing a review not to get owner's reply but for the visitors benifit.. We 7 adults n 4 kids decides to spend our precious weekend time here.... But unfortunately nothing reached our expectations... First n foremost it is a three star hotel... But our banglore street food tastes far better than what they serve.. Highly disappointed with the food... We found very difficult to feed the kids having no choice we fed them with biscuits, bread n jam. We stayed there for 2 nights n 3 days.. For all different accomodations complementary packages are same ... 1st night we spent in waterfall villa. Inspite of paying extra we can only enjoy the artificial waterfalls on for 3 hours in a day!??? And again waterfall is switched on as per their choice of time.. But it is mentioned that they ll switch it on as per our choice.. What's point of mentioning thing's when you are not following it!???
2nd day we Spent in Glass house private 🏊pool villa... Next day Morning we decided play a while in our private pool and when we saw the pool was full of insects.. .Wherein we had to check out the same day at sharp 11. When called for house keeping at morning 7 they told house keepers will only come after 9 . When questioned if they come at 9 we ll be left only 2 hours to check out and when are we enjoy our private pool !? They said its their fixed timings and it cannot be changed... What did we ask for!? Just cleaning!? Cannot just do this small service for their visitors!? Inspite of being asked to clean the pool immediately the house keeping people didn't turn up... Even after waiting for 3 hours no one came to clean the pool.. Having no choice we ourselves cleaned the pool in the morning.
Now, Children park was such a disaster 😠premises are not clean and plants are blocking the way they were not trimmed ,such poor maintenance!? Rusty swings and not spacious at alll. Pool accessories were not provided for kids..... They did not even inform it before.. But in the website we can see in that pool picture the pool water tubes are floating.. And compared to private pool common swimming pool looked clean. Water fall villas and glass house private pool villas are way far from food point .Every time we had to walk long way , and their is no room service also... If u are ready to pay extra for the food from the provided menu only that items will be served to room.. That too the cost for the food items are too high and of quantity of food served is less. No pest control or safety measures taken.. We also saw a black cobra near to our room.. One can see in my photos.. We can't reach the resort people due to network issues in case of emergency. Check in and check out time.. 11am is the check in time and check out time they have mentioned. They have strict time for check in check out. We had planned to stay for 2 nights, has we were totally disappointed with the food, service and the things which I have mentioned above .. We didn't wish to stay more than a night over there. As we had already paid full amount and because of no refund policy we forcefully convinced ourselves to spend another night in that place .Totally waste of money and our...
Read moreThe positives The kind of villas they have is definitely a plus. We choose the waterfall villa with an artificial waterfall amidst boulders in the room itself. That was a good experience. Continuing with design - our room had shower coming out of a crack in boulder. That was cool. The staff, especially restaurant staff are very pleasant and obliging. The food is decent. Although the chapathis were a little tough. Needs improvement The approach road. I know that you aim for a natural look but that does not mean that you give an unpleasant experience to guests. It can be much improved. The reception staff - they are the first people you encounter after long and tiring journey. They need to be extra pleasant. The reception experience - You would have paid half the money upfront while booking. They insist on full payment even before you look at the villa. Second, you need to have cash ready, they do not accept cards and online payment is not too good with the signal being weak. As a guest you spend atleast 30 minutes in the reception completing formalities which is just irritating. In the waterfall villa, the water overflows and makes the whole room a mess. Some simple measures can be taken to drain the water better or have a barrier. Atleast the guests can be told that this will happen and the housekeeping staff will put things right before hand so you are prepared. No intercom in the room. The guests are expected to use their own phones to call reception. If you don't get signal, then the reception is a good kilometre treck from the waterfall villa. The ambience of the room is not up to mark for the amount you pay. There are no facilities in the room. No electric kettle and coffee corner, only one small wall fan - no AC or fan for the single cot, no wardrobes or cupboard, just an open shelf, no drawers or tables to put things away, no comfortable chairs or recliner to sit and enjoy view. The rooms are very minimal. For the price you pay, you expect better facilities. It looks like the place is short staffed. Timings are severely restricted. In a one day stay you definitely miss out on many things. The trekking early morning is good but can be improved. Warn guests that it is not for beginners. There is only one guide and they go very fast, if you can keep up then you are good, otherwise you are left to fend on your own. There are no signs or an obvious path, nothing. We had to stop mid way as we were lost. We were slow to catch up and lost the group, spent a few minutes panicking as we did not know how to get down or proceed. Another guide for the slow movers or some signage would help, especially as there will be no signal on phone.
Overall, an average experience....

Pros - Food is really good must mention the chef who made all that. Every single item on the plate was just too yummy. Location - Amidst forest, cool breeze , escape from the usual city life. Pool - A good experience
Cons - Staffs attitude - Worst hospitality by the staffs there. They kept mumbling just right in front of us in their local language, thinking that we will not understand it. I wish the management trains them to better treat the guest else they are definitely going to lose business in some days just for this reason. Hospitality is everything. Fishing - There is this artificially created small pond where they grow their own fishes and you fish from there. Boating - Just merry go round a mulberry bush. It is on the same small artificial pond. Waterfalls - They did not show this to us, but when asked they claim that waterfalls is also artificially created and it is on the same aforesaid artificially created small pond. Trekking, plantation walk, bird watching - So they have all this only during an alloted time. Though they promise you all this under the one day package they don't guide you to take all these based on the timings that is only known to them. So as soon as you check in you better ask which activity is at what time and avail it to the best use if they give you. Camp fire - They say alternative days. But of course we went on an alternative day according to them, so we did not have this as well. Cottage does not have phones -We stayed in a cottage where there is no phone that can connect us to the reception. We had to literally walk from the cottage to the main reception which is quite far to ask for anything. People who stay at cottage is also a human being and what if there is some necessity in the midnight that they want to avail? It will be good if the management considers this. WiFi - We were asked to come to the reception to avail the WIFI facility cuz we stayed at the cottage. Again something that the management should take care of. Now a days basic hotels provide a WIFI connection. Disappointed here! Don't go by what's in their pamplets in terms of the activities. It is definitely misleading. Though it looks so provoking, but in real it was just a big disappointment. You can go to this resort to take a room and enjoy the view and calmness around and not for any activities. Definitely not worth the money spent....
