We went to the resort with little high expectation looking at the pic's . Definitely 5 stars to the photographer.|There was no WOW factor at all which we expect when we visit any outdoor facility.|The ride started with the welcome drink, for god sake you are serving "Rasna" i really wanted to go back but i thought lets pass it.||ROOMS--The Rooms are quite spacious for two, well maintained neat and clean. but lacked ventilation, The AC did not work, The worst part is the attached bath room also lacks ventilation and it gets quite gloomy.|The bath did not have any Bucket, the intercom does not work. Request to provide a bucket was not addressed, so had to adjust with the mug since the shower was non functional. hats off to the team for screwing our experience ||FOOD----The Food provided was not up to the mark, LUNCH -- Since i am Vegetarian the options are limited. What I am saying is it did not taste well, lacked the salt and spices that were needed. My friends who consumed Non veg were not happy as well.|High TEA ---- The Tea served during the evening was a disaster, the tappari walla gives a far far better tea..... the smell, flavor and taste was like brown garam paani....snacks provided with ketchup (Baaji/Pakoda) were decent.|SNACKS ---- The only good thing in food was when they provide Chakana/Sides for the boozing community, Penut masala/Gobi-baby corn manchuri/Chilly Panner was well prepared and tasted good.|Dinner --- The Soup was again gram panni with bread crumbs only complimented the little cold weather.... It was clearly visible that the white rice that were leftover in the Noon serving were reused adding turmeric and corn was provided as an item. Over all dinner tasted better than the lunch, probable reason that there were less ppl who stayed overnight.|||Break Fast--- The break fast was very decent and was well prepared with live Dosa station.||Play area -- Has Carrom/Snooker/TT/Ludo etc, not at all maintained well the TT bat were worn out the TT balls were broken, snooker chalk was missing, Well i did not come all the way to play LUDO....||Swimming pool -- There were like 3/5 Schools that had a day visit and were given the facility first. Now your guess is as good as mine what kids can do in the pool.. I did not venture for the same reason , there is no changing room and all boys were changing with towels and lungis in the same area and made many of our female colleagues uncomfortable. |Conference Room- Best part is the Conference room is just beside the swimming pool and every one had to wade through the baba's bathing.|Conference Room is quite spacious well equipped to handle 100+ ppl|Rain dance --Facility is big and well equipped.||Over all experience was lower...
Read moreNot the best of resorts around. We(small group of 8) went to this place for a team outing. To start with, reception desk didnt have our name in the guests list(though their sales team had confirmed our booking via email). Straightaway after a long checkin procedure, we wanted to play paintball. Deposited our bags in safety locker(refundable deposit Rs.500 per locker).
First surprise..they just had six working paintball shooters(rest were out for maintenance..hmm). It took them an eternity to get those 6 guns ready and the best part came when we were asked to hold the pellets canister in one hand & somehow hold the gun and shoot :). The paintball setup here looked like a checklist item put up in a dont-care manner i.e. "a resort must have it, so let's hack together something that barely makes the cut". Somehow we managed to play 2 rounds and headed for lunch.
Food(vegetarian) was okey dokey (not sure how the non-vegetarian items were).
Next up, time for indoor games. Options were snooker, tt and foosball(?). Indoor games area is small, dingy and not very welcoming. once again rs.200 deposit for every game. Didnt really understand the need for this deposit as the small games room had an attendant. We had to reason out with the staff at reception to avoid paying this(none of us were really carrying cash as wallets were locked in the locker along with the rs.500 security deposit!). Yet again managed to play a few games and headed out for quad bikes, archery and bottle shooting. These 3 turned out to be better(in comparison) to what happened earlier. Point to note..the misaligned handle bar of the quad bike did make the ride more adventurous :). You have to point it right to make it go straight! Again here, just one quad bike, wait in line.
One(only) plus point of going to such a place is, you end up spending more time talking with your colleagues and get to know them better(to compensate for the waiting time and lack of better facilites).
And finally, the resort staff looked bored to the hilt..looked like they were more in need of team outing to a resort to get out...
Read moreWARNING !! to all, especially event agencies and corporates. From the last 3 months I have been chasing this resort to file the GST that I have paid to the resort as they are not filing the same. In the month of July had done a 5 day stay for a client of mine and paid entire bill including GST. However, to my horror they have not filed the GST from last 3 months. First the manager at the hotel Mr. Yadav said that they file it every 3 months. However, its 3 months passed and yet it is not done. I have waited patiently and every time asked he has given some excuse or the other. Now he says it will be done in 4 months, then he says "hon jayenga even after 7 or 8 months but you will get it !!" so you can understand the ethics of this resort and I have it all recorded on my phone. When I asked him to pay me interest for it as I am not able to claim the GST credit, he has not answers. He refuses to give me the contact details of the owners or the accounts office and has frustrated me to the limit, to the point of even saying that I have been lying. This is the kind of customer service they talk about, while at the same time it is a blatant fraud to collect tax and not file it on time. I have made a complaint to the GST authorities, and I hope there will be a solution. But this should be a warning to any agency or corporate and even individuals who are planning to do any events at...
