Gaurika Residency Lodging and Boarding — Hotel in Karnataka

Rooms are not the same as shown in pictures, it isnt maintained well. They say breakfast is included but there is a cap on how much you should eat which is no where mentioned or told, when asked they say they forgot to inform during check in. People are rude too when you ask questions. Water was muddy and paints are peeling off as shown in the pictures.

I never mentioned the food bad, I only mentioned if there is a capping it should be mentioned which was only told after the breakfast. Also I clearly mentioned that water bottle and milkshakes isnt supposed to be extra and I told I would pay for it which is never mentioned in your reply.

What you are doing is just covering the mess.

For your kind information I did the entry in the register and then took the keys, the only reason to do so was because 1 year old kid was crying and also your staff told that card isn't accepted but later it was accepted, not sure why he tole it isn't accepted at first point. By giving keys you never did any favour.

I never threatened you on anything, I Just mentioned that I would give honest feedback for which you might have got threatened because people get to know the truth.

By saying dont do the same in your reply shows your integrity, I just gave honest review for which even your reply is rude and never want to correct your staff's behaviour. I would continue to give honest reviews in the future.

Had a great experience of our 2 day and night stay at Gaurika Residency. Great place for an economical stay. Rooms were clean and staff was very helpful. Yathish was the one man army who got us anything we asked for.

Amenities nearby: They have an ATM in the same building and 2 very good restaurants and is located on the main road. Main market is 1 km away and beach is 2 kms away.

I saw 2 areas of improvement:

1. Dorm for drivers: Most ppl travel to places like Padubidri by road and often have drivers too. So, that would be a good addition.
2. Mesh for windows: This would allow rooms to get fresh ventilation without bugs or mosquitoes coming in. For a rainy place like Padubidri,this is important to keep the rooms from getting damp.We did get damp sheets, but it was immediately changed when we asked.

Electricity goes away very often. However,they have a generator. The switch to generator takes a couple of minutes, but it's not a huge issue. I would recommend this place anyday for a good and...

One of the worst place in the highway this place is not at all recommended.. the owner was very rude we were 3 people friends travelling from Bangalore and we booked the hotel from Goibibo we had to reach the hotel by 8 they did not call us once also regarding the confirmation …. I called the hotel around 7 to confirm and they said yes it is confirmed and me and my friends reached the destination around 8 pm the hotel did not allow us as we were 1 girl and 2 of my male friends …. He started saying we don’t allow for 3 at 1 room you have to take 2 rooms and they were very rude they did not even see that 1 girl is there and they are just doing all drama when I cross checked in the Goibibo they did not mention any rules …. In the goibibo app I see it is mentioned as unmaried… The hotel did not even look like 3 star and they were doing so...
