The location is beautiful and the rooms are neat.
Be ready to climb up and down from your room close to 100 steps every time you want to have breakfast lunch or dinner(there are rooms other than the one in the main house which could be occupied by other guests, in that case you are provided with the rooms on top of a hill).
We had booked 5 rooms out of which one room was not functional as the toilet was stinking with drainage smell, we had to adjust in other rooms and yet paid the full amount. The housekeeping doesn't come everyday to clean.
There is no room service available even for tea and coffee. You are expected to get down take the flask up and get them the flask back as soon as you are done, if not they pester everyone asking where is the flask including children.
One day 6 of us did not have our breakfast and they charged us irrespective, The milk used for coffee and tea is completely diluted. The host always has a grim face while serving food and doesn't appreciate if you ask for second serving.
We were 15 people and had lunch in batches. They said there is only 1 roti per head. Unfortunately when the last batch of 5 of us sat to eat lunch they said there is only 3 rotis left, the quality of rice used is not suitable for everyone and some of us depend on rotis. This attitude of the host made us homesick.
We could not climb up as soon as we are done with lunch. As we were in large numbers, we used to sit and have a lovely family talk and a good laugher in the veranda of the main house of the property. The host used to come and directly tell that we were irritating them with our talk and asked us to go to our rooms.
We checked out on 1st Jan night and we were charged for 2nd January's stay. When asked why so the host said we could stay until next morning for breakfast even though he knew our train was booked for the same night.
We were happy they provided campfire for 31st night and we were served tea at 12ish. We made sure the chairs arranged for us was kept back and cleaned everything around expect for the campfire part. Still the host complained that he had to stay up until 2am to clean everything, I'm not sure what was there to clean.
Few suggestions to the host : Try to be friendly to the guest, please don't act as if we have to come to take off your asset, we are there to relax and enjoy your beautiful property and nature around.
We know that you are concerned about the food and you wouldn't want to waste. Let us know about it. None of us wasted anything which came on our plate but don't hesitate to serve we don't want to feel helpless without proper food. (there is nothing to eat outside near the property).
If you provide rooms on top of the hill please make sure you have some transport arranged for people who can't climb up down a 100 steps 4 times a day. Charge 20 rps per trip if you need.
We come down for all the meals, atleast make arrangements for tea and coffee to be delivered by your people. Place a telephone so you take the number of coffees and teas to be sent ward, We will be happy to tip the person.
Please don't put timelines for meals. Atleast ask someone if the other person is coming for that particular meal or not. Don't respond saying you didn't turn up on time and we are done. We are not in a college hostel we are here for a vacation.
So sorry to say that I wouldn't recommend anyone to visit your property until these issues are resolved neither will I come again. You have a beautiful property make good use of it, take us around your farm and tell us how you grow certain plants, make friendly conversations, don't ask is 5 cups of coffee is sufficient for 15 people (which actually happened by the way).
We miss chintu...
