Hillock Vista Homestay — Hotel in Karnataka

Hillock Vista is a true bliss. Nestled in the nature, with eye pleasing architecture, it offers a beautiful view of greenery. The Rooms exude minimalistic elegance. Though we visited in March and it was hot outside, as soon as we entered inside the room, we felt cooler, where at night when it was cold outside, we felt warm inside the room. This left us in awe. The rooms are spacious with a king sized bed and bunker beds which can be a playful fun addition for the kids. Washroom was well maintained. The property has rope activities, indoor games, swimming pool, outdoor swings, kids play area which are again well maintained except for pool, it needed better maintenance. Restaurant area is tastefully decorated and the main entrance has this little water feature with Buddha and cute little pond which has fishes with exquisite flowers plants adorning the area. Coming to food, the quality of the food was good, it was tasty, nothing exquisite but got that home cooked food feeling, could improve in adding varieties like starters, but still felt taste was better than many resorts that offer average food. Service was also very good, staffs were hospitable and catered to all our needs throughout our stay. The only sour spot of our stay was a group of stags who were drinking near the pool and were loud the whole time, if the property made this stay exclusive to families and couples, it would be perfection. If you are looking for a peaceful stay option, go for it as it doesn't get crowded like Coorg or Bangalore-Mysore road resorts. You can also visit places like Patla betta, Mookanamane falls and Bisle Ghat which are approximately 20-25 Kms from the resort. We felt it was totally worth the money we paid. Fantastic Stay at Hillock Vista Resort!

Our office team recently had the pleasure of visiting Hillock Vista Resort near Sakleshpur, and it was an absolutely amazing experience! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm hospitality that made us feel right at home.

The rooms were impeccably clean and well-maintained, ensuring a comfortable stay. The staff was incredibly friendly and courteous, always ready to assist with a smile. A special mention to Manager Bharath, who was extremely helpful throughout our stay.

We had a fantastic time conducting team-building activities in the resort’s spacious and well-organized environment. The highlight was the delicious Malnad-style lunch, which was part of their well-curated meal plan that includes breakfast, lunch, high tea, and dinner—all of which were absolutely delightful.

The play area and swimming pool were well-maintained, providing us with plenty of recreational options. The fire camp with music was another memorable experience, creating the perfect ambiance for an evening of fun and relaxation.

Stayed at hillock vista for 2 nights with family. Had an amazing experience with the team right from the beginning when I enquired about the place. I had lot of doubts since I had my toddler with me. The owner, Mr. Tejas was very patient in clarifying all my concerns. The place is easily approachable without any hassle.The stay was amazing - the rooms were clean and spacious, All the meals were home cooked , with a good variety catering to the needs of all age groups in my family. Mr. Balu , the manager was always present to help. The staff was very accommodating in getting even small things arranged for my baby. You can walk around the place and enjoy the pool and play area. The atmosphere is very serene and peaceful and its utmost quiet at night which is what a good break from city should look like. I recommend this place for a quiet weekend getaway/holiday...
