Honnukar Resort — Hotel in Karnataka

We had booked two rooms by paying nearly 6K. But the Amenities shown in the makemytrip app & google is completely fake. Simple basic amenities were not provided.

No toiletries, mineral water, wi-fi, iron/ironing board, workdesk, kettle, air conditioning was not provided. Only bed and blank were available.

The food was not worth at all. Customers are not greeted well and not looked upon or enquired well.

For namesake they are keeping this resort. Upon asking for water not being provided still it was not provided to rooms.

This resort is more of nearby young students or couples coming in for their personal pleasures. This does not seem like a resort. Please don't go by the pics.

The manager or caretaker of the resort does not seem to bother about customers. It was one of the worst experience we have faced till now.

At last while checking out the manager or caretaker comes to check the rooms if things are stolen rather than asking about our experience. They are not even ready to greet or take customer feedbacks.

We had wonderful experience at this homestay during our stay. This homestay is situated on the Sagar-Honnavar highway and near to Jog falls. Even though it is very close to main road, but it is very quite and peaceful. Rooms are clean and tidy with each cottages are situated at a distance and gives you needed privacy. Swimming pool is clean and well maintained. Additional to the Swimming pool, you can get badminton rockets, carrom as well for recreational activities.

We had dinner at this place which was awesome. Food was delicious and served hot and priced at very reasonable price.

Our caretakers (Manju and Mohammad) were very nice and friendly and treated us very well. We are looking forward for another stay at this place in future (especially during monsoon season for scenic and greener view). I definitely recommend this homestay when you are visiting...

The best resort experience I had. It is located in a very quiet and isolated place yet easily accessible with personal vehicles or public transport (auto). The room price is very reasonable with the service that they are providing. The swimming pool is well maintained and clean and they also provide warm water. A very good place to visit with family or friends, the staff behaviour is amazing, they treat you very well even with a place to rest, as we have arrived early and the room was not yet ready.

The food they served was amazing as well. Very good quality and tastes awesome. Also they have provided a complimentary breakfast which was really good too.
