JOG FALLS VELANKANNI HOMESTAY LODGE — Hotel in Karnataka

I visited on 30 th December 2022 room are very clean and hygiene , room is big with parking facility and they provided free pick up ,hot water available, they charged 1800 for one day 12 noon check in and 12 noon check out as they mentioned, but they said I can keep my belongings and use washroom ,very polite owner , and can driver is ver good ,he took sight seeing he charged 3200 ,all places he shown and helped in taking pics Food is good they took 100rs for rice and dal , and 180 for 2 tea and omlet bread , as it was peak season all lodges are expensive and sight seeing also expensive , total 5 k for jog falls trip ,quit experience , only falls is worthy visiting remaining all water games not much as I played all these in gokarna ,tv was provided but no channel recharge and no AC , hot water available

You can see other lodge with 1000 near by bus stop and 1500 for sigh seeing bus stop I don't like check in and check out timing it should be 24 hrs of our visit timing like...

We were searching for some homely place to stay and found Velankani homestay with great reviews. We have booked one room for 3 hight stay. The homeStay is great place . It was the best experience staying due to great hospitality of the owner. Location is very beautiful and close to nature. Jog waterfall is very near to homestay. This place is very well maintained...Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the Owner. Owner has booked cab for us and given direction to the cab driver for which place to see. Owner will make sure you have seen the best of places around. Home cooked food was very good and tasty. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Our trip was extremely beautiful and the total credits goes to Mr. & Mrs. Fernandez (owner). We loved the ambience and their hospitality.

I would highly recommend this place and I would definitely want to come back to this place again.

If you are headed to or on the way back from Jog Falls and the various attractions on the Honnavar/ Bhatkal - Shimoga route, this is a good place to stay.

Dolly is the humble, kind and ever ready host with a smile. There is a small tributary next to the property from where you can take a short walk to the main road and the boating venue. Boating prices are reasonable at 150/head and Dolly and Mr Fernandes will hook you up with the facilitator.

The rooms are reasonably priced, clean and spacious enough for a small family or you can book 2. There's not much of a view from the rooms but the property is close to the main road and also the river. Food, tea, snacks are available at the property if requested on time or you can drive to a town 2.2 kms from there.

Mr Fernandes will provide you with details on where you can visit and also some good local spots which only the locals know. All in all...
