The property has three villa-style units, offering six rooms in total. Each room was impeccably clean, with extra spacious beds that were not only spotless but incredibly comfortable. The attention to detail in maintaining hygiene and comfort was evident, and the views from the rooms—lush woods stretching out endlessly—were simply breathtaking. Just behind the villas is a swimming pool, complete with a kids’ pool, set against the backdrop of a small waterfall and stream. It’s the kind of place where you can take a dip while soaking in the sights and sounds of nature all around you. What truly elevated our experience was the hospitality. Mr. Prabhakaran, his nephew Bharath, and their entire team were warm, courteous, and genuinely invested in making our stay memorable. From thoughtful gestures to prompt assistance, they went above and beyond to ensure we felt at home. Speaking of home, the food was a highlight—simple, homely meals prepared with love and care. Every bite tasted like comfort, and it was clear that the kitchen team put heart into every dish. Evenings were a delight with an indoor bonfire setup, perfect for enjoying the rain while staying cozy. There’s also a kids’ play area, ample parking space if you're driving in, and easy access to nearby attractions like Manjarabad Fort, Bettada Bhairaveshwara Temple, Bisle Ghat Viewpoint, and Manjehalli Waterfalls. What sets Kanive Eco Stay apart is its commitment to sustainability. The property blends seamlessly with its natural surroundings, and every aspect—from architecture to amenities—reflects a thoughtful, eco-friendly approach.

I am more than overwhelmed at the sheer profoundness of everything at this homestay. Be it hospitality, cleanliness, serenity, environment, view from balcony, food, room size and furnishings, accessory services including bon fire, anything a traveller can think of.

So, for everything mentioned above, I would not fall short of rating any as 5.

Now if you are curious enough to understand why, continue reading. We had stopped by Manjarabad fort before reaching this place. Soaked and drenched in rain (June is a wet month, especially if monsoons set in early), we were completely tired by the time we reached the stay. What followed was a warm welcome by Madam, made even warmer by hot coffee which at that moment felt like heaven. We were already admiring the beauty of the place but the sprawling compound could only be appreciated best the next morning. Sitting from our balcony with two cups of tea, my eyes only found green anywhere that looked at. Sitting in this balcony, don't worry about how many view points you would be visiting, since you are already at one of the best..

I could go on like this but just to save the curious reader's time, if you are like one of us, preferring serenity, tranquility but lazy enough not to leave worldly comforts of good food, great places, and hospitality, move ahead to clicking a few more times unless you are done with bagging...
