Kwality Estate provides a serene escape from city life near Raja Seat, with easy access to dining options like Udupi Veg, Coorg Cuisine, and Big Cup Cafe, all just a 30 to 40-minute drive away. However, there are a few drawbacks to note. The homestay offers basic accommodations with only a room with a bed and blanket. Accessing the estate requires navigating a challenging 1 km road, which is very narrow and bumpy, requiring a skilled driver and sturdy vehicle. Additionally, due to its secluded location, dining out after sunset may not be possible, but the in-house cook prepares delicious meals. We did not feel safe as this was a secluded place. Another safety concerns include the lack of room locks and keys, and other traveler’s sharing the house. The rooms, house, washrooms are clean and well-maintained expect their couch. There is a stream opposite the house but when we travelled there was hardly any water in it, that too was dirty. It may be enjoyable during the monsoons. While coming from Mysore,it is a narrow road on the right side. You may miss this turn easily if not careful. After entering this road, the cottages are 1 km away and you may start getting apprehensive about choosing this property. But don't be. This is the road to a beautiful stay where you will wake up to a picturesque view of a stream , lot of greenery, away from hustle bustle of city with tasty food and good hospitality. Rooms are neat and clean but can be improved though for better experience. Also, you can check with them who else will be staying in same cottage before booking as there are multiple rooms in a cottage. Though, we were comfortable with other group staying there but it could be an issue sometimes for certain people. Food was really nice but little spicy for us but Ganesh bhayya adjusted the spice level as soon as we told him about it.
