Read moreWe stayed at Nakoor Volkot for two days in December,2017 and needless to say this to be an amazing experience, in fact best ever Homastay experience till date. Being situated within coffee plantation in a village named 'Nakoor', Coorg, far away from the maddening crowd of the tourist places the place is completely refreshing, serene, peaceful. ||If I talk about the surroundings, this homestay is in a coffee plantation owned by Usha Ganapathy(the owner of the homestay) absolutely in the lap of nature. The house is a big 2BHK with big rooms, TV room, dining hall and fully furnished kitchen. ||Usha who co-ordinated everything was very helpful and cooperative, she made sure that we had a comfortable stay there. Her son,daughter-in-law and grandson was very nice, well behaved and courteous.||The caretaker Shivappa knows what we need and when. Whenever we returned after local sight seeing he asked us for coffee or he was ready with bed tea every day and that is also free of cost. He is the one who took us for a walk around the coffee plantation. His little daughter Sphurti is very sweet and cute.||Well, I should not forget to let you know about the food they serve. The food was hygienic, tasty, homely, and lip-smacking. We were overeating those days just because of the food quality.||||Our stay was so much blissful enjoying the serenity of nature that it is very hard to point out anything on which it needs an improvement. Only thing is, Mobile network(except for Airtel and BSNL) was not available or having very poor signal.||||So in case anybody needs a break from the modern haste and hurry just for a few days, this place could be oneof the best...
