This place is about 55 kilometers from Bangalore city situated close to the town of Mudenahalli. They have about 5 properties ready which can accommodate people on vacation, with many more properties under construction. There are a decent number of food options available around the cottage with the best places being in Chikbalapur, a town situated 6 kilometers from here. The local housekeeping staff there speaks Kannada, Telugu and Hindi and understands a decent amount of Tamil as well. This is a good place for short trip for Bangaloreans. We stayed here in September-2021 and we enjoyed our stay here. You can have great view of Nandi hills and Skandagiri from here. Nandi valley cottage is equipped with most of the things that you may need for your day outing. Single bedroom house with a living room and attached kitchen. Very simple and basic homestay ideal for a small family or a couple. Amenities are quite good. There are some good restaurants to order meals from between 8AM to 10PM nothing after that. Definitely need a vehicle in hand to travel anywhere. Uber and Ola doesn’t serve the area.
