The property is totally different from what it's projected online. We had booked for 3 members of our family for one night from 30.12.22 to 31.12.22. They quoted Rs.5,600/- room rent for 1 night and we paid Rs 3,000/- non refundable advance as demanded by them. They asked for a long list of details as if it is a star hotel and we complied. On 30.12.2022 in the morning we left Bangalore and on the way we visited Manjarabad fort at Sakleshpur and 4 hours before we sent a message to the resort to prepare lunch for us. When we reached the home stay which is about 30 km from Sakleshpur at about 2.30P.M. there were some workers and we were shocked to know that they were not aware of our visit and they have not prepared any food and they were busy with their own chores and there was no one bother about us. We learnt that their manager one Vasuki sitting in Mudegere and she is handling online queries, busy in collecting money from customers and there is no proper communication between her and the property. The owner of property is available only in night. So for lunch we had to go to Mudegere which is 20 KM from the home stay and by the time we returned it was dark so we lost the whole day. Access to the property is very difficult and it is located about 1km inside a coffee estate and there are numerous mud paths and no sign boards. It is an average village style tiles roof house and having 2 to 3 rooms, put additional cots according to number of persons and charge exorbitantly. There were no mesh for windows and we had to open window for ventilation risking entry of snakes. Toilet was stinking with no ventilation and we didn't take bath and checked out at 7.00Am. In the night they had given non veg food and charged 900/- for 3 persons. So this place is not worth for money, they have not provided basic facilities and they are money oriented not many places nearby to see. So if you are visiting Sakleshpur you can stay near Hanabal and there are good home stays available with reasonable prices and don't go to Nature Inn which is far away, road is in terrible condition and waste your time and money and...

While the property itself is beautiful and the owner is kind and helpful, our overall experience was completely ruined by the utterly unprofessional behavior of the manager, Vasuki.
Before arriving, Vasuki had clearly committed that food would be ready upon our arrival — this was critical, especially since the property is located in the middle of a jungle with no alternatives nearby. Despite repeated follow-ups, when we finally reached (with a baby, no less), he casually told us the cook wasn’t answering his calls — as if that was an acceptable excuse.
This wasn’t just poor planning — it was complete negligence. With a child and no food in sight, we were left stranded and anxious. Thankfully, the owner stepped in personally and served us something just so we wouldn’t go hungry. But this should never have happened in the first place.
Manager Vasuki’s careless attitude, lack of accountability, and blatant disregard for guests’ needs reflect terribly on what could otherwise be a great stay. He single-handedly turned a peaceful getaway into a stressful ordeal.
To the property owner: you have a great place and your hospitality was appreciated — but Vasuki is not fit to manage this experience. As long as he’s in charge, we won’t be recommending this...
Read moreThe stay is amazing in close proximity to Abbi Falls and Ethina Bujja. The place is simple yet serene and sunrise view is amazing. Its a 20 acre coffee estate with a big stream at the end where everyone including children can get into the water and have fun. The food is very homely and tasty cooked by Host Dileep’s wife herself. Dileep is also an amazing host, explained us a lot about how coffee cultivation works and has helped us when our car battery stalled by reaching the location...
