NEEL THARANGA GUEST HOUSE — Hotel in Karnataka

The caretaker was constantly asking for extra money for every little thing. It felt like we were being charged for just existing. We had booked the whole property in advance, expecting privacy and comfort, but to our shock, the owner decided to rent out a portion of the property to someone else during our stay. We were told to either "adjust" with strangers or leave and find another place to stay. This is absolutely unacceptable, especially considering we had booked the entire place in advance.

As it was the heavy rainy season, and we were a group with women along, the least thing we needed was the stress of dealing with this kind of poor management.

I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone and I will definitely be avoiding this place...

I am delighted to share my experience at NEEL THARANAGA. We had booked this stay for three days to give our families a peaceful staycation. The location is beautiful with a private beach. It is also not very interior but close to the mail road making it easily accessible. The rooms are maintained well with hygiene. The staff here are humble and they provide amazing food with authentic sea/non-veg and veg varieties which tastes on top of the world. On the whole we had a pleasant stay and would like to come back here again to enjoy the homely-yet-natures retreat at Neel Tharanga. The owner of this property was so coordinative since the time of booking till our check-out. Thanks a lot for such an enriching...

What an unprofessional behaviour of the manager of the property. We had booked 1 month early where we are promised to get sea facing rooms. On reaching the property, we were informed that we would be getting a separate room that too on the ground floor in a separate area along with the staff stats and in the backside as well for which they charged 3.5 k per night. This greedy people gave the room to someone for more charges. I am now looking for new places and will have to give extra for the stay. I now demand compensation else will take...
