The evening gatherings by the campfire were a true delight, and the homestay provides ample parking, which made it convenient for exploring the surroundings. The accommodations strike the perfect balance between luxury and coziness, and waking up to the view of the lake was a treat. Nice place to stay.... New property, so rooms are maintained.

Cook and Caretaker are always there to help and ask for requirements. If you come late back from sightseeing, still they will serve you snacks and coffee.

Cook always has a smile on his face and very courteous. Caretaker too courteous.

Proximity to sightseeing locations are good.

As it's on a remote area, close to lake, you will require guidance on 1st time to reach this place, then it becomes a schedule, no issues, just a small stretch of muddy road to reach.(may get a little tricky during rains)

Overall very satisfied with the stay. My 2.5 year old daughter too loved the stay and food, so we too are satisfied.

Not to forget, loved the food (a little spicy but homely, the coffees, breakfast, snackes, dinner) And Moon and Rusk,...

We stayed at pbtl from 28th-31st july. It is a great property with an amazing mountain view. Our morning started with the cloud filled mountains which was very beautiful. Care taker and the owner were very friendly and helpful. Mr Shashank helped us in booking a cab to visit all the tourist places and the property is quiet near to all the places. The surrounding of the property is very peaceful filled with lush greenery and the best part is the view from the property. There were indoor games and karaoke which we enjoyed a lot. The food was also very delicious.

Overall I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a beautiful and peaceful stay in Chikmagalur.
