Stayed here for two nights in the month of July 2021 and experienced the peak of monsoon in its full glory for the three days. Came to this place with some great expectations but returned with a mixed bag of experience. Firstly, a big thumbs up for the location and the views on offer. Waking up in the lap of nature is a luxury that we urbanites will always look forward to. Since it was raining all the time, we hardly got to explore the property, and most of the cottages were wrapped in plastic to avoid the wrath of the rains. I am sure it's a pretty sight otherwise to see these cottages nestled among tall trees and on the slopes of the hill. The slopes is where this gets a little challenging for people who cannot scamper up and down as easily. Getting upto the reception is itself an "up hill" task and a further climb upto the cottages on narrow slippery mud path which can be nerve wrecking especially if it is raining.

Once settled in the room, you can expect to be pretty isolated as there is no way you can communicate with the staff except mobile phones ofcourse, (if you get reception that is). Else, you have to make a trip down those slopes to the kitchen in case you need your dose of coffee or something. You will get the physical call for the meals by the staff who are very patient and accommodating to your requests even if it means for them to walk up and down countless number of times.

The rooms were kept as clean as they could in the monsoon. The beds were comfortable but some cleaner linens would have been much appreciated. Hot water was available all day, although the power situation was a bit sketchy. If you are looking for a workation, this is definitely NOT the place.

The food here is very basic, mostly centric to a more homegrown menu. The list of items are purely based on what's available in the kitchen. Breakfast, Lunch and dinner is on a buffet. Your snacks (off menu) is customisable with some advance notice to the staff who will procure and prepare the dish as per your request.

Well, my verdict is: Location: 🌟🌟🌟🌟 Food:...

At the time of check in we could see the room’s floor mat was wet and water was inside the room but we ignored it as it was wooden cottage and rainy season. We went outside and didn’t spend much time in room in the day time. Had we noticed it in the day time we would have cancelled our booking the way many other guests did. After dinner when we went to our room, we found mattress and blanket were wet. There were water droppings in room and in bathroom, We called the manager. He didn’t respond. With the help of mobile light we reached manager's place as there wasn't light outside near our room. we asked for the change of the room. New room given to us had the blanket in which some had blown his/her nose. We asked manager to change the blanket. After three time exchange of wet blanket and suffering in cold for thirty minutes we got one usable blanket. The mattress of new room was wet too. Since everything around us were wet we asked for room heater. Emerson rod was given to us saying it’s a room heater. We spoke with owner of the property too at the same time. Owner said since he is out of station, only manager can help us. Imagine at mid night, Manger of the property giving you Emerson rod saying its room heater. It was a nightmare to spend a night there. Considering the night time we couldn’t leave and search the other place too. Most of the time no electricity. No hot water. Very ill managed dirty place. Room were very smelly. They can't blame rain for their...

The worst place to stay at!!!

I was lured in with the beautiful pictures they have posted in make my trip and Instagram! But, DO NOT fall for it!!! It’s one of the worst ever places you can stay at! Listed below are the bad experiences I faced during my stay here (with picture evidences for some) [ ] Smelly rooms [ ] Unclean rooms with dust all over [ ] Stained and dusty carpets (not vacuumed) [ ] Dirty unwashed footrests for washroom and main entrance [ ] Gaps in the wooden wall—any tiny insects and small snakes can easily enter the room [ ] Dirty and smelly napkins and towels [ ] Drinking water in old unclean glass bottles [ ] Stained and torn bed sheets and pillow covers [ ] Broken curtain rods that fall over your head when trying to close the curtains (happened to my husband) [ ] Unhygienic kitchen with cats roaming freely inside and maybe even tasting some of your food before you do as they don’t keep the food covered with a lid (happened to my baby’s food) [ ] Horrible food quality and taste

Overall, this was one of the worst experiences I’ve faced! And since their payment system was non-refundable, I couldn’t even go to another place as I’d already paid and it was 13k plus for two...

Date of Stay: 14th June 2025 We had a wonderful experience during our stay on 14th June. The booking process was smooth and hassle-free. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed—someone came down to greet us and helped carry our bags to the registration area. We were also offered refreshing welcome drinks made from locally sourced fruits, which was a lovely touch. We had booked a twin cottage for two couples, and the rooms were absolutely marvelous—clean and well-maintained with comfortable beds, fresh linens, hygienic washrooms, and a beautiful balcony. There is a huge gap BTW two rooms with extra bed. The front view from the cottage was simply breathtaking. The food was delicious and served promptly. We were informed in advance when meals and snacks were ready, which made things very convenient. Special thanks to Mr. Dheekshit and his team for their calm, polite, and supportive service throughout our stay. Overall, a must-visit place! We’re definitely looking forward to visiting again soon. Stairs to the rooms will be bit difficult to old age ppl.
