Our family and friends of 10 people checked in on Aug 07 for a weekend stay. Sreekanth, the property owner showed us the rooms and around the property upon arrival. The rooms were not clean and didn't have light in toilets and there was no power at our arrival. We asked Sreekanth about it and he told us its not his responsibility and cannot predict when the power fluctuates. He goes on to saying that we shouldn't have any expectations - we were just surprised to hear his response. As it was a hot afternoon, asked if he has any other means for power. He said he has a power generator and that he will turn it on but only after we finish our lunch. So we agreed and waited till after rater a mediocre lunch. After about 3 hours of waiting under a tree (we couldn't wait in the rooms as the sheet metal roof was flaming hot), we checked with him to see if he will turn the generator on. Well, now he says it is broken and needs repair (fact check - there was no power generator to our knowledge). He just kept fishing for reasons to neglect and not accommodate our needs at all. Fed up with this, we asked if there will be power by the end of the day at least. Not sure what really triggered him at that point, he started harassing us and told us we can leave the property and that he will throw on our face the advance we had paid (for real). Yet we kept our cool and decided to leave. He wasn't done yet, out of nowhere he threatens us that we won't leave his property before being beaten up and that he has a gang of boys to size up (look at images of him disrespecting while pointing his finger at us and alongside joins his contractor). We realized he had literally lost his mind at that point and left his property with nothing but a supposedly fun weekend ending bitter from a scoundrel. Funny enough, he made some false claims at our arrival saying that his zip line is the second biggest in Asia, and honestly we didn't see any. To conclude, do yourself a favor and don't waste your time. There are better places around the town who will treat you with respect and look...

I had a very bad experience with RAC resort..

1- Nothing will be informed on prior related to the activities and need to pay full amount in advance.

2- We will get to know that you have to pay extra for the activities one we reach there.

3- When We try to put this point to that RAC owner, she said that you can go for tracking and one more activity without mentioning that we have to pay extra money for those. So all the time we thought , it’s for free.

3- once trekking is done who will lead by the care taker( Nagaraj he is a good person but follows RAC owner commands). Suddenly we will get to know that we have to pay extras 300₹/ head. When you try to discussed this point with owner she did not listen us at all that made me angry and we refused to pay extra.

She told to care taker please lock the main gate to that no one go outside.

We will be allowed to go out OR leave the property only after paying the money which we are not supposed to pay.

Very very disappointing and...

An amazing experience, amazing people, amazing place. Overall, a great place to get connected with nature. Srikanth who runs RAC is a very down to earth and genuine person, guides and manages everything seemlessly. Sanath and Nagaraj who take care of all other requirements like food, cleanliness, accompanying you to the trekking site are very polite, obedient and loyal guys. Good for family, kids and friends. The trekking place in itself is an amazing treat, close to Blore, beautiful location and it rains as well!! Overall had a great time and going back soon. Highly recommended.
