Ramya Residency - Best Budget Hotels Rooms | Fine Dine Family Restaurant — Hotel in Karnataka

Looked like a new building with the structure being clean and the rooms being light and airy, but maintenance was the worst. We had taken two rooms. In one room there was water on the floor when we went in. The water was coming in through the windows due to the heavy rains and they probably were waiting for the rains to stop before cleaning. In the other room, there were tiny insects crawling all over one of the corners in the bathroom; I thought they were all coming out from the tiles. Apart from this, the linen in the room was very old and unclean. The bath towels were frayed at the edges and had holes in them. The blanket was probably due for dry cleaning (long overdue I would say). This place could be a gem of a place to stay if it was maintained properly. On the bright side, the food and service in the restaurant was good; tasty food and fast service. Hope someone is listening and things are fixed. Worst hotel experience of my life.

When I entered the building the receptionist said that all the rooms were booked but 2 seconds later, he asked whether I wanted an AC or a non AC room and suddenly a room was magically available (He did the same thing to another family that were beside us and I dont know why).

The room, where do I even begin? It looked so pathetic when I entered it. The bed had juice spilled over on one side. The desk (the one under the TV) and the cupboard was so dirty, it felt like it hadn't been cleaned in years. The phone was hanging tilted and it felt like it was going to fall any second. The bathroom was the worst part, it was so filthy and gross, I almost vomitted. There were visible stains on the toilet and all the taps and buttons felt sticky and uncleaned.

The restaurant was the only good part and thats the reason I am giving 2 stars instead of 1. We got our food on time and it was quite tasty.

If you need a restaurant to eat, this is a decent place otherwise its better to find...

Was searching for good food after a long travel from Goa and going to Bangalore. Fortunately we didn’t had to go inside the town which would’ve eaten up lot of time. This restaurant is right next to the highway as you reach Dharwad.

Food - really exceeded our expectations as the ratings showed 3.8. Veg pakoda as starter was up to the mark which had paneer, chilly, potato and onion rings. The quantity was also good. Coffee - was just Perfect! Chicken Biryani - came in a earthen pot sealed with dough. Adequate quantity of pieces and perfectly spiced. We were craving for a good biryani for long.

Ambience - its huge place. there are options to sit in a family restaurant at the front and then there is the open garden which has some pets as well. We choose to sit in the open garden.

Service - was too fast. We didn’t had to wait for anything. And that’s what you need when there is a long distance to cover ahead.
