My review is as a host conducting function in the one of the Royalton Liesure lawn (Jiva)

There are two lawns provided by this property. A big lawn called Arya and a medium sized lawn called Jiva.

The location of this place is a pain to go. Most of the invitees, if not close to you, will choose not to come.

Arya Lawn is expensive, big one and the owners provides 55 rooms to stay. For the other one: Jiva lawn, they only provide 8 rooms. If you are planning for a wedding, you will run short of rooms in Jiva. Any amount of request you make for providing rooms from the big lawn, they will not provide. (Why? Because they have a policy - rooms of Arya will not be provided to people who are conducting function in Jiva. They are scared that residents of the small lawn will go and have food in the function of big lawn. ) Actual reason is the trickier. As soon as you talk about the shortage of the rooms they will direct us to the nearest radiant Resort. The main two people Ms. Harshitha and Mr. Naveen talk sweetly, provide an assurance that they would give it a try, talk to the people who are conducting function in Arya Lawn. But at the last moment, they will ditch saying the other party are using it. So don't get into their words. The fun part is, as you go to the radiant Resort, they would ask the details of who sent etc. As the radiant fellow got to know that we are requesting some additional rooms in the other lawn, he didn't co-operate on a few late check-outs (and demanded additional fare).

Also, for renting the lawn, the royalton leisure will not provide any utensils for cooking. The good part is you can arrange your own cook. The side effect is your cook has to get plates, spoons, stove, gas cylinder, tables, Chairs, their cooking utensils, each and everything. They will not provide table and chairs in the lawn as a part of their lawn rent. The chairs has to be arranged by your decorator or they would charge for every chair.

What is good here? The lawns are good for photography. Parking area is available. Rest, is all pain there.

If you intend to conduct any South Indian function in Jiva lawn (medium sized) with people coming in a large scale, think twice before you rent it. People cannot travel all the far and hence need accommodation. Unless they provide additional rooms from the Arya lawn, it is not worth fixing this as the wedding venue. You will end up in staying in a nearby Resort which would be inconvenience to ladies and kids to get ready for multiple functions. Gents will be ferrying people In their respective cars missing the function.

All their terms and conditions while booking for the medium sized lawn (Jiva) will be mention to you during booking. But think through multiple times on the inconvenience that would cause without getting rooms in royalton leisure itself. Make a...

We had our wedding here on 8th December 2019, in the Aria Lawns. The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous, with beautiful greenery in the daytime, as well as lovely lighting in the evening. The venue is away from the hustle and bustle of Bangalore, making it a wonderful oasis for a wedding. We got a lot of compliments on the venue from our guests. There is plenty of parking for guests at the venue.

The venue management, and Ms Monisha in particular were incredibly helpful throughout the wedding planning process and went out of their way to assist us, including making special accommodations for us and our vendors at the last minute at our request to make sure everything went smoothly. They were very flexible, and easily contactable and responsive throughout the planning process, which is very important. I would highly recommend this venue to others.

Some have indicated that this venue is very far away from the city and is lonely at night. We had no trouble booking cabs/ubers to and from the venue, both during the day and at night. We therefore had no problem with the distance of the venue from the city. In fact, being slightly further away meant that the ambience of the wedding was lovely and quiet.

The only issue we had was the distance of the kitchen to the wedding lawns, which the caterers had some issues with, as it is a bigger distance than what they are used to at normal chatras. I would simply recommend making sure that your caterer visits the venue well in advance so that they can make the relevant arrangements rather than last minute. Everything went...
