Satish Mullodi homestay — Hotel in Karnataka

Our stay and the hospitality were excellent. We went on a bike trip — 3 bikes and 6 friends — and this place added so much to the adventure. The homestay is located around 7 km uphill from the main road, and the entire stretch is off-road. It was an amazing experience, especially because we reached after dark. Riding through the hills at night, trying to find the location without any network, was both thrilling and memorable!

The homestay is almost the last house on the hill, surrounded by calm and greenery. The trekking trail actually begins right from the property, which is a huge plus for adventure lovers. The rooms are right above a beautiful waterfall — it feels like having your own private falls. You can spend time relaxing there; it’s not too deep and perfectly safe. The view from the rooms is breathtaking and totally worth the price.

A special mention to the host, Mr. Satish — a very friendly, genuine, and helpful person. The food was delicious and homely. He’s also a very experienced trekking guide. Although we didn’t go trekking this time (since we’re not really the trekking kind), the way he explained the routes and showed us photos has definitely inspired us to come back and try it next time.

Visited satish mullodi home stay on the 1st weekend of December. The place is crowded with tourist but u will enjoy a lot with the kind of scenic beauty the place have. Balgal is the name of the jeep point where the owner of the property satish will pick u from. The road to property is off road. We were allotted a room which is damn beautiful. Toilets are clean. Later satish arranged dinner for us. Food is delicious too. Thing to remember is that, satish mullodi homestay is the nearest point from forest checkpoint. 200rs entrance fees they will charge per person and 1000rs local guide fees u need to give to that local guide. The homestay will arrange u breakfast as well as packed lunch to carry. Thing to remember no plastics allowed in the trekking path. Total 10-12 kms trekking strech.
