'Clean, well maintained rooms with friendly staff'

Shree Krishna Residency is located right at the Karwar-Hubli main road. The room was very clean and tidy. There was a very pleasant aroma at the room when the keys were handed. The staff were friendly and the owner of the lodge was very cooperative. There is good two wheeler and four wheeler parking in front of the lodge. There is an underground cellar too. There is no geyser in the room and you will have to depend on the lodge guys to switch on hot water facility which is during a fixed time in a day.

A rasoi hotel is attached with the lodge. The food here was tasty and fresh. We had our food here and we liked the taste. Mangalore buns, poori sagu and juice was very good. The people over there will guide you about how and where to travel and this was an additional perk.

Avoid This Hotel at All Costs! I had an absolutely terrible experience at this hotel. The service was shockingly poor—staff were unresponsive and seemed uninterested in helping guests. To make matters worse, the room was infested with bed bugs, making it impossible to sleep comfortably.

The cleanliness was appalling, with stains and bed bugs on the bedding and a foul odor throughout the room. Basic amenities were either broken or missing, and the overall maintenance of the property was severely lacking.

When I brought up my concerns, both the owner and the manager were shockingly dismissive. They outright said they don’t care about customers and that “if you want to stay, stay—if not, leave.” Such an attitude is unacceptable in any hospitality business.
