Stone Wood Premier Dandeli — Hotel in Karnataka

Beware of this horrible experience and if you look for peace, don't visit !!! we visited this place on 23rd Dec for 3 days stay but had to checkout the next morning due to horrible experience faced the time we entered . We were charged 7200 under the name of luxury nature cottages but too pathetic stay ever since we are wildlife enthusiasts and have stayed across forest properties in the past. Additionally they asked us to pay 2 days 14k everything before even checking in to the property. There is major disconnect in the booking process as Mr Keith , sales director - highly arrogant, rude and disgusted way of handling customers and Melissa staff were having all different prices quoted for booking. We had to share the advance booking proofs on mails, WhatsApps etc to 3 to 4 mail IDs. Mr Keith also demeaned a property in the vicinity called whistling woodz calling it a dormitory but it was far much better then stone wood There itself we were disappointed. No privacy at all. Construction drilling welding Noise in the vicinity that would stay for around 4 years or more due to some property work. We had to ask the manager to get it stopped as it was 8pm and still going . All rooms face each other and there is no window to these small wooden cottages if you shut the doors. We had to keep door curtains closed 24hrs for ensuring privacy . The locks don't work and these cottages were adjacent to the drainage gutter flowing below the cottages and kept open. They claim to be a new property but the condition of the rooms are decade old. All basic low quality fittings and furnishings! Dirty stinking washrooms with small bathing area. No handwash in the washrooms and the commode was degraded quality. No prechecks done before guest arrival for cleanliness and hygiene. No hygiene followed at all and unhygienic practices in the restaurant buffet area and across the eating area with mosquito bugging all day. Capacity management was a big issue. We had to wait for 40 min for the basic evening tea to be served. There was a big group that occupied all chairs and tables in the restaurant. When we complained to Mr Nazil General manager, he defended the group saying they had a special request to merge all tables and chairs converting it into a round table conference.That instantly gave us a feeling of UNVALUED EVEN AFTER PAYING HEFTY AMOUTN JUST FOR ROOMS. They played loud music till late night. We had to eat out dinner in those small rooms without any arrangements of table and chairs .This was highly annoying and unexpected response from the GM who takes the decision ownership there. We had to connect with 4 different team members to book out stay that was damn irritating and unacceptable considering the hospitality industry. Unbearable with these issues, We had to search other resort in the vicinity. Who would want these horrible transitions. Management attitude is unapologetic not at all...

I with my family and friends recently had the pleasure of visiting this resort in Dandeli, and I must say it was an unforgettable experience.

The staff at the resort went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and enjoyment. From the moment we arrived, their warm hospitality made us feel right at home. The food was not just delicious; it was a feast for the senses. We also indulged in a variety of adventure activities such as Zip-lining and other customised adventurous activities. The safety measures were top-notch, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the fun. Zip-lining, rock climbing, and camping—there was no shortage of adrenaline-pumping moments.The Adventure crew at the resort is well trained . Enjoyed swimming pool in evening and bonfire at night with dance and music. I highly recommend this resort for a short trip...

Rooms are clean, view is good. All the staff are very helpful. No activities at all. Kitchen is too worst. Breakfast, lunch and dinner everything too worst. We have to wait 45 minutes for food though only 6 guests were there in entire resort. Really really need to improve food quality. We are very disappointed when we came to know no activities and our health was upset after having food there.

Not recommended resort. I trusted the review and went after that regretting for trusting the reviews.

They have told it's buffet but it's very limited menu with ala carta. You have to wait for 45 minutes to have tasteless food.
