WHITE ORCHID RESORTS — Hotel in Karnataka

The place is very confined to be called actually a resort, it does not have the kind of open spaces or area to be told a resort, its a very narrow you can actually guess the entire area of the resort including parking to be not more than 80 feet by 250 feet.||||They have around 20 odd rooms both A/C and non A/C, rooms are very well maintained.||and the place itself except for the recreational gadgets are well maintained.||||But the equipment such as gym equipment or the carrom boards or not well kept and maintained.||||Gym is completely ditched, its not working at all, you won't see as it is in pictures.||||Other than that they make very nice tea, but not so good food, we had breakfast there.||it was okay but not exceptionally good to have it again.||||A/C's and all work well, we had bad experience in TV it was not working, I mean the cable television was not working. even the Wi-Fi went down in between.||||Apart from that they have a very small swimming pool, not so big, at a time probably around 4-6 people can enter and enjoy with out bumping to each other.||||The water was pretty clean but they said they clean it every 2 days.||if there are more people, it will get dirty and they don't take any extra care...

Service is bad. Room service is satisfactory but short staffed. The food is too expensive. They don't have an in house restaurant. The indoor games are good enough. It's nice and cozy. The efficiency of the staff can improve. We faced power issues in our room. Couldn't sleep all night due to power cut. It came as soon as the owner/manager picked up the call. Drinking water is a major concern. They don't have a proper drinking water tank they only rely on packaged water which is again charged double. No complimentary breakfast was given. A few of the staff will not return the balance amount they take to get food for us. Again there are no nearby medical store or stationary store or restaurant to go and eat. You only have to rely on room service, which I personally didn't find it that appealing. Service can be improved. I will certainly recommend this place for a one time visit. There are many many better places to choose here in mysore. The swimming pool is the only good part here. They've maintained it properly and water is cleaned thoroughly everyday. It's a little smaller in size but it's wonderfully maintained. The ambience is great. WILL NEVER VISIT THIS PLACE AGAIN...

This resort is small and is quite far from city. Its midway between Srirangapatna and Mysore city! Had a tough time with Ola Cabs, each time we had to move out from resort for sight seeing, ola cab drivers would argue for dropping us back saying there's no service in that area!! No internet in rooms or wifi. No complimentary breakfast or drinking water. Restaurant is dirty, and we had to request the management to stop pestering us with doorbells for bills. They need us to pay for restaurant immediately and don't stop ringing until u open then door. No professional staff. They have a small tank like swimming pool and small children's play area. apart from that it looks like they purchased a house and converted it to a resort. Not impressed at all.
