The complimentary breakfast was so lousy. The property is good, well maintained. Very frequent power cuts and back up was problematic during night time on day 1. Went black out almost an hour. Luckily the whether was good so we managed. The next day it was fine. Plz provide varieties in breakfast. We were just served with some dry idlies and chutney , watery sambhar and some not freshly prepared rice. A scary black Desi dog visits the premises often n we had to keep our puppy inside the room. MMT says the property is pet friendly and no other pet was in the premises, while it seems the otherway. Care taker says no pets are allowed anymore and a scary desi dog visits randomly. Our stay at White House in Chikmagalur was absolutely wonderful! The property is set right in the middle of a beautiful coffee estate, offering peace, greenery, and a true Chikmagalur vibe. There’s a clean swimming pool, plenty of fun games, and a cozy campfire at night that made our evenings special.
The food was delicious and felt just like home — simple, fresh, and full of flavor.
A big thanks to Dasharath and his family for their warm hospitality. They took such great care of us and made sure we had everything we needed and suggested places we can visit.

This homestay has 3 rooms, 1 executive and 2 deluxe. It room has 2 double beds so if 4 people are going, you should only book 1 room which would be quite cost effective. The rooms are very neat and clean and service is quite good. This place is 16km away from chikmangalur city so you would not get anything like snacks , medicines near the homestay and would have to travel to chikmangalur. The food for dinner was not good and expensive as well as they were charging 350 RS per head.
