Bethania Resorts Athirappilly — Hotel in Kerala

Last Saturday we 4 members (myself, my wife, my friend and his wife) came to stay here based on the communication between their sales staff and at that time they sent us some photos of the very clean and tidy room and toilet.When we arrived at Bethania Resort they said they would give us a family suite which included a master bedroom and an extra bed in the hall. But they need 15 minutes for clean the room so we ask the manager Mr. Antony to see the room. Only then we will confirm the room. At the same time my friend asked for common toilet. Then he said that he can use the toilet in the opposite room.Terrible thing is , the bathroom is pathetically maintained, the room is below average, we enter the opposite room, my friend is there after urinating, antony said the opposite room is already confirmed to other guests,and ready to check in.but I saw the same situation in that room dust on the beds in the room too, so we feel very uncomfortable, better to go to some other resort so i informed mr.antony to we are leaving here because there is a huge difference in the photo and the reality.then his face gone rude and he needs 500 rupees for urinated i just wondered and asked him to discount 😏🤣.so he said this is not 'sathram'.Then we all negotiate with him but he behaved very badly to us including our lady members so I refuse to pay so he said he is going to increase the charge to 2000. Otherwise you can't leave here, so I suggested to my friend lets contact the policeThat time antony told us that he has a good relationship with the nearest police station and there is no effect on you and told me to pay 2000 rupees again, he went from office to call his police friends, we waited for him for an hour but he did not come back, then someone at the reception ask to pay 500 and solve the problem. and finally as it was late night we paid the amount and found other accommodation

My stay at Bethania Resorts was an absolute nightmare, and I cannot emphasize enough how appalling the experience was. Despite paying a hefty price of around 1700, the room provided was nothing short of a disgrace. It's hard to believe they even have the audacity to call themselves a resort.

The most infuriating part of this whole ordeal was the abysmal state of the toilets, which were never cleaned. Shockingly, the manager and staff openly admitted to not caring about maintaining proper hygiene standards. It was as if they had no respect for their guests' well-being and comfort.

On top of that, the manager and staff's unprofessional behavior was utterly unacceptable. Instead of addressing our concerns, they displayed a rude and dismissive attitude, making us feel unwelcome and unwanted. Witnessing the manager call another guest a "psychopath" simply for making reasonable requests was nothing short of outrageous.

The resort's lack of basic facilities, like no intercom, only added to our frustration. It was nearly impossible to get assistance when needed, leaving us feeling stranded and ignored.

The overall cleanliness of the resort was abhorrent, from the unkempt rooms to the neglected common areas. It's evident that they have no regard for maintaining a clean and pleasant environment for their guests.

To make matters worse, we were left with no choice but to abandon our stay and find an alternative option, wasting precious hours of our holiday time. Such utter disregard for our time and experience is beyond infuriating.

In conclusion, I cannot stress enough how strongly I advise against ever considering Bethania Resorts for accommodation. The deplorable conditions, rude staff, lack of basic facilities, and complete disregard for guest comfort make this place a complete disaster. Save yourself the headache, frustration, and precious holiday time, and steer clear of this horrendous excuse...

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Bethania Resort with my friends, and it was a fantastic experience. We arrived around 7 PM, and although the resort's usual operating hours are from 12 PM to 11 AM, the staff graciously allowed us to extend our stay until 3 PM, which was incredibly accommodating.

The staff were exceptionally friendly, and their hospitality truly stood out. A special mention goes to Akhil, who served us during our meals. His cheerful demeanor, warm smile, and excellent service made our visit even more enjoyable.

The food was another highlight of the trip. For breakfast, I tried the pittu with chenna curry, which was absolutely delicious. For lunch, I enjoyed vegetable fried rice with chicken and beef-it was equally delightful. The flavors were rich, and the quality of the food was top-notch.

The ambiance of the resort was serene, surrounded by the soothing sounds of birds and offering a beautiful partial view of the river. While we didn’t try bathing in the river, it’s a unique feature that adds to the charm of the place.

Another standout feature of the resort is its proximity to the Athirappilly Waterfalls, which is just 1 km away. This makes it an ideal spot for anyone planning to visit the waterfalls while enjoying a peaceful stay nearby.

Overall, Bethania Resort offers a wonderful experience at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with great food, excellent service, and the added convenience of being close to the stunning...
