I visited this place in December. Since our trip wasn't planned before most of the other resorts were out of rooms. Got the suggestion about this place from YouTube and Google recommendations.
Location and accessibility: The resort is situated in Pallivasal which is 2kms from Aanachal and 6kms before Munnar town. There isn't any particular landmark so Google maps is your best option. The resort is in the foothill of a cardomom plantation. I would rate 2/5 for accessibility because although you can take your vehicle, the pocket road that leads to the resort is very narrow and only partially concreted. The staff would offer you pick up from the main road in their jeep which is a good thing. Once you reach the resort there is adequate parking facility.
Resort: The resort has two villas with 4 rooms each. You can choose balcony rooms(1st floor) or verandah rooms(ground floor). Balcony rooms are charged an additional 500Rs. Each room has an attached bathroom with hot water supply, tea kettle and a TV. The resort has a restaurant, a couple swing and paved walkways. You're surrounded by a cardomom plantation and the place is calm and serene.
Activities: You can walk through the cardomom plantation which is fun. There is also a campfire with music in the night. Other than that they offer you a 2.5km trekking to a nearby waterfall which for some reason they hesitated to take us in the morning. They told us that we might have to take a 500Rs jeep ride back from the waterfall which was not mentioned while booking. Instead one of the staff took us for a small trekking to a nearby water line project. The trek although small was very fun and refreshing. The person who accompanied us was very well behaved and knowledgeable about the surroundings. You can visit Munnar town if you wish for an evening shopping. They light up the place in the night which is very beautiful.
Service and Hygiene: Service is exceptional and the staff was very courteous. The manager was friendly and polite. Rooms were kept clean but there was a mild damp smell from the furniture. The bathroom door of one of the rooms was not working. The glasses, coffee mugs and kettle provided were very clean. TV was working properly.
Food: Food facility here was extremely disappointing. Only fried rice, chapathi and chicken chilly were available for lunch and the fried rice was soggy and chicken chilly flavourless. All the items in the menu were expensive especially considering the lack of taste and average portion size. Canned drinks like Pepsi were charged way above their MRP. I suggest visitors to have lunch/ parcel lunch from outside before check-in and if you're visiting Munnar town in the evening get your dinner from there. Complementary breakfast: The breakfast was also a disappointment. A very small cup of fruit juice was offered. We were given an option of choosing tea or coffee but not both and wasn't offered a refill. They served puttu, Puri, chana curry, bread and jam. Puttu was good but the wait for puri was very long. We had to wait for 45mins to get additional puris. They should understand that complimentary breakfast means we're getting breakfast as part of the package and not as a charity. Even milk, cornflakes etc which are very common in a complementary breakfast were not given. So 0 points in that area. Kindly improve.
On the pockets: They advertise the place as budget friendly which it truly is in terms of stay but not when it comes to food.
Verdict: Budget friendly place for family. Polite staff. Well maintained area with awesome view. Average accessibility. Poor...

Read moreIt's a decent stay, Only 3 starts due to the following reasons.
First of all, they call it as resort but it is not. They only have swing that is it no swimming pool, no camp fire nothing. Don't fall for the pictures posted.
Secondly, strictly NO for those who travel by car. Only approach if you have 4x4 SUV and no for any other vehicle. The road to the resort from the main road is risky and steep. That too the last 200m is terrible steep and for non experiened drivers do not attempt, they have professional drivers better give your car to them for your own safety. They have jeep which offers pick and drop service to and from main road.
Rooms are decent, they were super clean and the service they provided is top notch. They are very kind and very helpful. Their food is also decent enough for the taste. It's deep down there in valley.
Downsides, Steep road definitely NO for non experienced drivers. The rooms are not sound proof, the murmurring sound from the next room is clearly and cleanly listenable, hence a big NO. The bathrooms are clean but smelt very bad and hot water is very slow, better wait 10 mins to fill a bucket of hotwater. Not worth the money. Please not, all bike rental in the city refuse to give their bikes if you stay at this hotel due to steep roads. Hence, if you plan for taking rental bikes, please don't...
