Brook Streak Wayanad — Hotel in Kerala

We are group of 5 young ladies who were & still are good old college friends who are busy finding our ways through lost life in cosmopolitan city Bengaluru, had a long week end (October 2017). Wanting to make the long week end a meaningful one, we planned a unplanned road trip to sail & endeavour the same college memories down. Since it was UNPLANNED we made random choice & finally land up to Wayanad & end up booking our stay at Brook Streak after we reached Wayanad. Must say we not just had fun among us but was a one heaven peaceful trip. We were sooooo relaxed & literally we felt we were cleansed from the city's air & noise pollution. The importance & magic of nature was felt in this place. All we heard for 2 days were pure water (falls) sound, birds tweeting & could smell the wet mud. We were between the estates & the breezy air with a chill feel was indescribable. The best part of the trip was there was no network & just the wifi. So we could choose to talk to the family whom we want to & avoid unnecessary disturbing calls. Not just that but had a chance to experience the private natural water falls with pure natural way. Not to forget the service they provided. "Mr Melvin" who is the proprietor of the cottage was a "Gentlemen" who made us feel completely comfortable & most of all SECURED. Though the place was secluded, he gave us the feel to enjoy the privacy & made sure we had our vacation to the fullest. He served us the best & provided every thing we asked for. How can I miss the food, Yes we go to experience the best authentic Kerala food which was real treat to taste. Over all the whole trip was worthy & heavenly. Though the drive you may feel a bit inner & roads which leads to the heaven may not probably satisfy you but the destination is mind blowing. Not to forget but you also get to see lovely site seeing on the way. The trip was pocket friendly & truly affordable. One of the best place visited with loaded memories & photos. The place is pretty nice. You can see different types of fruits plants. Lots beautiful flowers creepers.

Let me describe it in better way.

Location : It is basically a coffee plantation location which is 6 km from main road. You ll not get any animal sight seeing near by. So for location I ll rate 3. If you want privacy it really and awesome place, you can spend your family time very well

Value For Money : well I think it is little bit costly compare to the service is being provided, everything is chargeable, Food, Barbecue and if you are vegetarian then don't go for barbecue. I ll give 3 star for value for Money

Hygiene : 5 out of 5 without a single thought entire place is clean and well maintained, Rooms, Washroom, breakfast area everything is very well maintained. Utensils used for breakfast were clean like home.

Hospitality : 5 out of 5 for Mr. Melvin, Such nice guy he is always available for anything. Whatever you want whenever you want, he ll arrange it for you. His knowledge about plants is really amazing.

Food : For breakfast items 5 out of 5, for lunch and dinner 3 out of 5 because breakfast was having homely tast, lunch and dinner was not so great as we ordered from restaurant. Well if you are vegetarian then you ll not get much options.

We had a very close encounter with the luxury of Nature.. The resort was located amidst its splendour. Melvin, the owner of Brook Streak Resort had left no stone unturned, when it came to hospitality and care. He was supported by his two young men, who silently managed everything under his guidance. The main highlight was the Total Privacy Experience.. The Cuisine, The Ambience, Busy Birds Chirping, Noise of the river stream, Silent whistle of the cold breeze and the awesome view of Mother Nature, was beyond our expectations... We never could have imagined that this would have been the outcome and experience...There were interesting places to visit, in and around this resort, which we could not do during our stay. We are planning another visit to accomplish them. We wish Melvin, all the best and God Bless him...
