Our stay at Cardamom Casa was an unforgettable experience. Reaching the property through an off-road trail added a sense of adventure, and the views were absolutely breathtaking—lush hills and fresh mountain air all around.

The campfire nights were cozy and fun, perfect for family bonding. What made the stay truly special was our host, who was incredibly warm, approachable, and thoughtful. He even took us on a midnight drive to Gap Road, which was surreal and peaceful beyond words.

The homely vibe of the place made us feel so comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious—simple, fresh, and made with care. He also took us to a charming retro-style chaya kada, where we enjoyed authentic local tea and snacks.

Sadly, a harrowing experience. The road leading to the place is scary (a very steep narrow lane for just one car). We reached in the evening to find just one person who could not speak anything except local language. The concerned manager/ contact man/reportedly proprietor did not bother to pick up the phone. They did not even care for the service they were supposed to render. Seems they don’t know what it is to be in hospitality business. Among other things we requested for plain rice which obviously is vegetarian but what they sent was shocking, chicken fries rice which was consumed by one of our vegetarian members of the family.
