Citrus Hotels, Alleppey — Hotel in Kerala

Firstly I will say that, the Citrus has best team , staff members , trainee staff and management . They are treating all the guest as special guest . They have treated me and my family also as a special guest during my stay from 06/08/2018 to 09/08/2018 ,||||The experience at Citrus was beyond my expectation. ||||I am thankful to all the staff members / team of Citrus ,i.e. Mr. Sujith (Manager- who was ready to make all the guest happy) , Mr. G. K. the Security incharge, Mr. Vinuraj- Chief Chef (who was very attentive to the guest for their taste and choice of the food ), Mr. Sijomon, Dhanlaxmi, Srilakshmi, Priya, Rohit Pawar, Rohit Sahoo, Niju , Rajendra, Prabir , Anandu, Nitin, Vishnu, Nandu, Abhay, Vijay Kumar, Sandeep, Chandu, Chandra, Shalu, Damyanti (Towel Artist) and Special Thanks to Ms. Kartika. (She is very helpful and courteous).||||Citrus is a beautiful island resort, we can only reach through boat provided by resort. ||||The food at resort was tasty and great. ||||The location of the resort is very soothing and beautiful , you can see the beautiful houseboat and boats are passing from you room and balcony , size of rooms are specious, bathrooms are clean , the surroundings are very excellent. ||||Every evening the complimentary house-boat cruise and in the cruise tea/cofee/ refreshment provided by the Resort . ||||Every evening difference type of traditional dance performances in the dining hall. ||||Spa has trained staff who has provided us complimentary relaxing head/foot massage . ||||Rear side of resort has big paddy field, has a natural beauty. ||||This is one of the best resorts I had ever visited , we have great time and surely will visit again.||||Adv....

This place is amazing. The location, food, staff .. The staff go an extra mile to make your stay memorable. Sharing my experience, Just an hour before the check out i realised that i lost my phone, with a flight to catch in 3 hours i was very worried. The hotel cab driver Mr Alphonse not only assured that it will be found but also safely dropped us in the cochin airport on time. Just when i was about to board the flight he called back to tell me that he picked the phone from the coir museum ( we went for sight seeing the previous day ) and handed it over to the citrus security incharge Mr. Gopakumar Pillai, i cannot express how relieved i felt after that call. Mr . Leo assistant manager stores promptly arranged for the courier to my address. Thank you all. I also would like to thank in particular , Mr. John Manager operations for taking care of our requirements throughout our stay and Ms. Karthika( In room dining for her suggestions , my kids loved the food). Food was expensive at the property. However it was homely, safe and very clean.

Stay is Not worth the price being charged. Prices are being charged as a 4-5 star category hotel, which it is not.

Staff was very kind and caring. Worth mentioning mr. Sujith’s (operations manager) dedication to ensure the comfort and happiness of all clients and always being available. He took extra measures to ensure my initial disappointment was looked into and ensured i had a happy and comfortable stay bu the end of it.

Not much activity or things to do around the resort

Really big and clean pool.

Pool villas are good and come with an attached pool, these are good for simple sun bathing or if you have kids who can really play in the pool, but not of the size for adults to swim at all.

Property/Rooms require some thorough maintenance, cleaning or repainting.

Not in the 3 star category.
