Emerald Royal Residency — Hotel in Kerala

This place is maintained good. However there is a basic challenge we stayed here from 23rd Jan to 27th Jan and had booked 2 rooms. The water in the bathroom stinks like sewage water both in sink and shower, i had skin rashes due to this and you can think of brushing the teeth due to the smell. When reported this to Mahesh the person washing was managing the property he mentioned he is aware and they have tried cleaning but smell exists due to this washroom literally stinks . The recommendation to owner is to properly investigate fix the water issue and then put rooms on rent , you cannot put rooms on rent when your water basic need is not right. Also we were asked to pay cleaning charges and milk powder charges which was not told to us , when asked Mahesh mentioned there is a rule everyday cleaning charges we take hotel yet has asked for this . Later he mentioned I just told you and did not ask to pay. Overall experience was ok as they were try to help but the basic need of water issue is real concern and needs attention . The property needs to be reported and not allowed for guests to stay until...

We came from punjab to visit Kerala...and it was a great experience there...and the people of reception and the all the worker were very sweet and friendly...they treated us like there own family....they provided us with everything we want...also on the last day they arranged the dj room for us....it was fun....and on the side there is little waterfall which was very beautiful.....also hotel is located in the great place...and the environment there is very good....beleive me u should go and stay in this hotel they are really very nice...I hope that if I'll go Kerala one more time then I'll surely book this hotel only.....I miss them and Kerala...

We were in Emerald Royal Recidency at Christmas to visit the Athirappilly waterfalls and the surrounding area. It's a local area with lots of small villages and welcoming people. Biju gave us the opportunity to attend the Christmas mass at the nearby church and all the people were super nice and happy that we were there with them. It was a wonderful experience. All the staff is helpful and even when all the shops were closed because of Christmas, they managed to get us nice food. Definitely recommended for a stop...
