I recently had the pleasure of staying at Gateway Bekal, and I can confidently say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Nestled in a sprawling 30+ acres of stunning landscape, the resort is a true gem that combines natural beauty with unparalleled hospitality.

From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Josephine at the reception. Her radiant smile and genuine enthusiasm set the tone for our entire stay. Josephine ensured that we felt right at home, taking the time to explain the various amenities and activities available, and her attention to detail made a lasting impression.

The resort itself is breathtaking. The lush greenery, well-maintained gardens, and serene ambiance create a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The architecture of the resort beautifully complements its surroundings, providing a sense of tranquility that is hard to find elsewhere.

We stayed in one of the villas, and it was nothing short of magnificent. The spacious room was elegantly designed, featuring intricate details that reflected the rich local culture. We appreciated the thoughtful touches and amenities that made our stay incredibly comfortable. Each evening spent in the villa was a delight, allowing us to unwind in luxury while enjoying the views of the surrounding nature.

A highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the dining experience. Lokesh, Priyanka and his team in the food and beverage department provided us with outstanding service and a culinary journey that we won’t soon forget. The variety of dishes offered, from local specialties to international cuisine, was impressive. Each meal was a celebration of flavors, and the presentation was equally exquisite.

I must commend every staff member we encountered during our visit. Their friendliness and willingness to assist at any moment made our experience even more enjoyable. It truly felt like they were part of a family that cared deeply about their guests’ comfort and happiness.

Overall, Taj Gateway Bekal is a must-visit destination for anyone looking to indulge in luxury and nature alike. The approach to the resort, however, presents a notable challenge. Access via narrow, recessed streets creates an initial impression that is at odds with the refined experience within. This geographical limitation is the sole significant detractor from an otherwise pleasant stay. Upon arrival, guests are greeted by a clean, fresh ambiance that underscores the hotel's attention to detail. The provided amenities, while sufficient for short stays, are well-maintained and contribute to a comfortable environment. Conversely, the culinary offerings deviate from the expected Taj standard. The dinner buffet, in particular, lacks the variety and flavor profiles typically associated with the brand. Menu limitations and occasional execution flaws, such as delayed service and order inaccuracies, detract from the dining experience. While the restaurant staff are generally courteous, their efficiency requires improvement. Guests may find the dining experience underwhelming, particularly when considering the value proposition. In summary, Gateway Bekal excels in service and hospitality, providing a serene retreat once accessed. However, prospective guests should be aware of the location's accessibility challenges and the variability in the dining experience. Complete Disappointment – Fraudulent Practices at Gateway Bekal

This experience was disgraceful and utterly unacceptable! We booked our stay from 28th December to 2nd January, expecting a premium experience for the ₹147,500 we paid for our 5-night stay. However, this stay became a nightmare due to your blatant misrepresentation and failure to disclose critical information during booking.

Nowhere during the booking process was it mentioned that:

The bar was non-operational, and you don’t even have an alcohol license. The spa and sauna facilities were incomplete and not functioning correctly. Most of the promised amenities were unavailable or out of service. We chose this property, traveling to India with family to celebrate New Year's in style, only to have our plans wholly ruined due to your mismanagement and deceit.

We did not expect this attitude and cheating from the Taj Group. When we noticed this was a Taj property, we were reassured by your esteemed reputation in the hospitality industry. However, the experience has left us thoroughly disappointed. This behavior is a highly shameful act that reflects poorly on your brand's values and standards.

This is a shameful practice, exploiting customers for profit while showing complete disregard for their experience and trust. We would have taken our business elsewhere if you had been honest about the lack of operational amenities. Instead, you have spoiled our vacation and caused immense disappointment.

We demand accountability for this fraudulent experience. We expect an immediate response and a resolution to this matter, failing which we will not hesitate to escalate this issue on every possible platform, including consumer forums and social media.
