Hormuz Inn — Hotel in Kerala

Room's Balcony view is amazing , it is facing towards to a River. And Hotel located Easy to access from highway road. Nice. Room staffs are friendly . Good... Break fast is okay. It is locality style. puttu-banana/Dosa-saambar and coffee/tea. Good... Overall okay. But.....

" Essential Drinking water is not AVAILABLE" in the hotel/rooms. What a COMMON thing !!? If you want Drinking water, then you should purchase the Mineral water BOTTLES from them.

While I Check-in , a 1.5 lts. water bottle was provided in the room. It's also charged while Checkout time. And for the additional each water bottles , they are charging (hidden charges). This hotel is nice to family stays. But When we stayed a room, the GROUND floor rooms was allotted a Gang tourist. On the night, they were occupied the COMMON areas and over night they were smoking/Drinking.(river...

I recently stayed at Hormuz Inn and while the hotel had some positive aspects, overall my experience was just okay. The location of they hotel is great, beside the river with a great view and convenient to the main attractions and the staff were friendly and helpful. Would need to definitely emphasise on how attentive the staff was in fulfilling my requirements during the stay. However, the room was not as clean as I would have liked and there were a few issues with the amenities. The breakfast was good, not a buffet but still the idli and dosa were too good. In general, Hormuz Inn is a decent option for a budget friendly stay but it didn't exceed my expectations. Booked two rooms. One room was big and comfortable; but not road facing or river view. The second room was small but road facing. Clean and well maintained premises. But the smaller room had few problems. It had ant infestation in few places due to which we had to careful. Also the bathroom latch was not there and one tap was broken. Hot water was available 24/7. Comfortable bed and AC was chill. Breakfast was just okay & filling but limited options.
