Hotel Samudra ,Sreekandapuram — Hotel in Kerala

We booked a Suit room for family. First of all there were lot of bugs on the window side and as soon as we opened the curgains we got 2 lizards. My husband had to catch and throw them out as we were with kids. When we aksed hotel management to clean ghe room they said maids already left for the day! Some eye wash cleaning was done when we insisted. There was NO hot water running in the bathroom. Hotel management had no resolution or alternative but kept saying that its the hot water! Came here on 25th dec, being Christmas day entire restaurant had just one steward. Food was served very late and not so hot. Had very little options, most food on menu weren't available. We ordered black pomfret fry, but we got some other fish, but steward wasn't accepting. He was insisting us to believe it was black pomfret. However we didn't want to argue with the only steward. A decent clean hotel with good spacious rooms. Unique aspect is that the room was well designed for differently abled and senior citizens. But it also helped the kids. Mr. Libin and his young colleague was very pleasant and helped us with the queries. Restaurant provided tasty food and the open parking was adequate.
