Here's my honest review. Just spent 2 bitter sweet days at this.. I don't know if resort is the word for this place. Its a large house in a rather small property with ridiculously overpriced dirty cheap stinking rooms. We booked two rooms as a family at around 20k per day! The staff were friendly but the service was a disaster. We had paid for an extra bed in one of the rooms but never received one despite asking. Both the roomed smelled of wet fungus and the bathrooms smell is better unexplained. It was purely disgusting. The food wasn't a great story either. Apparently the same staff are incharge of a resort nearby named 'Blacknell' and this is a side function. We had to wait for a really long time and the food we received was blunt and definitely not enough. If we asked for tea or anything extra it either never came to us or takes forever. We asked for a kettle but as expected we got none again. The location of the resort is on the outskirts of Munnar so for those wanting to stay at Munnar better not even think about this place. Other than all this the resort is in a peaceful location with complete freedom and they do have a decent campfire set up which we truly enjoyed. Like I mentioned earlier it was a bittersweet experience. As a family we enjoyed and loved the beauty of nature but as relaxing place of stay we are sure to say that we are never coming here again or recommending this place to anyone.

This place is for those who love thrills and not for weak souls as the place is situated inside a dense forest. Very few vehicles ply and after it gets dark, it's literally pitch dark outside as u see in horror movies since there r no street lights available. There is a caretaker and it's safe if u do not venture out after it gets dark. Location - awesome serene calm environment. Rooms - Very well maintained. There is no night lamp available and u got to switch the balcony light and sleep. There are around 6 rooms. Service - the caretaker Mr. Monson was excellent. Only drawback is food comes from their sister concern which is around 350 meters from the place. Barring breakfast, lunch dinner or snacks have to be ordered well in advance so that they can bring it. the road is kind of zig zag and steep..so walking up the road ll take around 20 mins. If u have ur vehicle, u can take that but might find it tiresome sometimes. Parking - parking is available here. 1 car can accommodated inside and others can be parked jus outside the gate. No worries as traffic is negligible. Roads leading to this place are very good except for very few areas where roads are under construction now but drivable. This is from Theni Bodi side. Cost was little on the higher side. Approx 5k per night as it was peak season. Overall I loved this place.

My recent stay at Madhumantra Resort in Munnar was an exceptional experience, blending the serene beauty of nature with top-notch hospitality. Nestled in the lush hills of Munnar, this resort offers a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The resort's location is simply breathtaking. Surrounded by verdant tea plantations and mist-covered mountains, Madhumantra provides an idyllic setting that is perfect for relaxation and rejuvenation. The resort's design seamlessly integrates with its natural surroundings, featuring eco-friendly architecture and landscaped gardens that enhance the overall aesthetic. The rooms at Madhumantra Resort are spacious, well-appointed, and offer stunning views of the surrounding landscape. My room featured a comfortable bed, modern amenities, and a private balcony where I could enjoy the mesmerizing views of the forest. The décor is tasteful, combining contemporary comfort with traditional charm. In summary, Madhumantra Resort in Munnar is a haven of peace and luxury and a good break from bustling city life.

I have just recently visited this hotel. The room was spacious with all the amenities and proper size bed, charging points, mirrors, dressing table, sofa, chairs and television. There was balcony from which woods can be seen with the beauty of nature and chirping of birds. The ambience was nice.. Though it is little bit inside from local market but it is best for whom who wants to enjoy the nature to take rest from our day to day life. The food quality was also quite okay. They arrange camp fire for all their customers where together everybody can enjoy. Also,it was my birthday when i was there...without my knowledge my family and A cube holidays(travel partner)asked them to get nice cake..though it was far away from city still they have managed it so well..that i can never forget my birthday. The staff here is very helpful and polite.. especially Mr.Sanjay..who is managing all the customers over here.He is ready to help you with all the issues..Thanks a lot Sanjay for giving us such a nice experience. I will definitely recommend this hotel to all of you if you want to spend your value time with awesome nature and...
