If you are looking for a place with all mod cons, then this is not the place for you,if you want a unique experience then you have found it.The homestay is a traditional Brahmin house but unusually has four inner courtyards in the main house, although we stayed in the guest house adjacent to the main house. The rom although basic was clean and comfortable and had a separate toilet and shower, the room is on the first floor and the stair access is quite steep. The hosts Praveen and Vida are delightful and excellent company, you have your meals with them (vegetarian and no alcohol)in the guest house dining room, the food was excellent as was the conversation,Praveen is very knowledgeable and explained the Brahmin way of life, our discussions covered many and varied subjects,he was a mine of information and a pleasure to have a conversation with and certainly doesn’t lack ideas for taking the business forward. He took us on a tour of the main house, which was fascinating (including showing us how methane was produced from cow dung to fuel the cooker) We also visited the rubber plantation to see how the tree was tapped. We enjoyed our stay here immensely and found it extremely rewarding thanks to both...

When dinner ended, we 4 would repair to the living room for good conversation, often regarding religion, history and traditions. One day we were guided around the plantation by the owner and then a tour of the main house. ||This was a lovely stay, quite different from the 5* stays we had...
