Misty Dreams Vagamon — Hotel in Kerala

We were a group of runners who were unfortunately put up at this place, the night before the race. Well this place is run by a single guy who works hard to make this happen around this place. They are terribly understaffed and do not even have a reception or a lobby. If you are lucky enough you will get a WiFi connection, that too without an internet connection most of the times. The same router will be taken away in the middle of the day or in the evening since the staff want to use them for some emergencies.

If you are lucky enough, you will get home-cooked food which is actually tasty. Even if you order in the evening, there are chances you may not get what you ordered for or enough of what you ordered. We had high expectations seeing 4.5 star ratings in the major sites and it was a...

A quaint little house with two big bedrooms that can accommodate a total of 8 people, this place has been a welcome surprise for our weekend getaway. It doesn't boast of great views, although there's a small tea estate behind the property and it offers a little sense of greenery of vagamon nevertheless. The main upside of this property would be its proximity to the main road albeit some distance from the vagamon town area. The rooms and dining hall area all have a minimal modern retro look to it. Very good place to stay and the people are awesome. The place in the picture seems so cozy, but is a good and spacious home. It had 5 beds in three rooms. Which can easily accommodate 7 person (we are the 7 in the photo) who were of good size. The beds are double beds. The food was good, but dont expect 5star food.
