AS A GIRL TRAVELER, WHO LOVES TO ENJOY NATURE, I WON'T SUGGEST THE PLACE TO ANY GIRLS... Me and my friend, BOTH GIRLS, went to Munnar Iwa to enjoy our vacation, but unfortunately we were VERY VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED. They have a very good view point but they only provide it's near by tents to bachelor's, which means ONLY BOYS. And they say it's for safety of girls ( which I personally felt like girls cannot look after herself and it should be looked by someone in this regard) We politely asked them to provide any tent that has a view from, but they were really stubborn and provided a tent which literally looks like a room in the corner, that doesn't have any window to look outside. Just like some people who don't want girls to explore the world and SIT IN A CORNER. We, obviously TWO GIRLS searched other property which doesn't have such a RIDICULOUS RULE that shows GENDER DISCRIMINATION. To travel is to live, and the nature is to experience, not only boys but also for girls. So such rules in the name of so called safety measures should be removed and Let everyone look after their own safety and enjoy the trip.

I'm unable to reply to the comment Iwa provided. For those who read, they have misinterpreted a statement that they informed us the area is already alloted to bachlrs. They never told the area is alloted instead they told, that area is for bachelor's and also told that a issue happened before in which a parents called them and asked why the area was mixed or somewhat like that... They told that couples and girls have seperate area, and only that particular area will be provided for safety concerns, they never mentioned it previously or never posted that particular areas picture in insta or any media. Hereby attaching the area which they told that they provide this are for couple and girls. The particular area looked like a waiting shed completely closed with green sheets. THEY TOLD THIS PARTICULAR AREA IS ALWAYS PROVIDED FOR GIRLS FOR SAFETY ISSUES AS SUCH INCIDENT HAPPENED BEFORE WHICH INCLUDED PARENTS OF THE PERSON WHO...

One of the best trekking and camping experiences of my life.

This was the very first time I booked a trekking and camping package online, and I was not sure what to expect. However, Munnar Iwa thoroughly planned and organized it. There were around 10-12 washrooms for men and 5-7 for women, which were clean and well-maintained. The tents were spacious and tidy, with properly functioning zippers. My friend and I had a scenic view right outside our tent, which exceeded our expectations. The base camp was just amazing!

They provided us with a welcome drink and snacks before the evening trek through the Suryanelli tea estate. After sunset, they arranged for a campfire and DJ. For dinner, they served chapati, chicken gravy, BBQ chicken, jeera rice, and raita. I would rate the food 9/10. The next day, they woke us up at 3:30 AM for the sunrise in an off-road jeep ride. That journey wasn't very pleasant, and sitting in the back made it even worse. Unfortunately, we couldn't see the sunrise due to heavy mist and a mild drizzle that morning, but the return ride to the base camp was nice, with scenic views of the tea estate. Our driver halted the car for a few minutes so we could take some photos. They served dosa, idli, and vada for breakfast, which I would rate 10/10.

Overall, the camping and trekking experience offered by Munnar Iwa was nothing short of exceptional. The price of the...

I didn't like the experience we had with munnar iwa. I can tell the whole story we reached suryaneli and there they arranged an auto rickshaw and we reached there at nearly 1 pm, we asked for our tent so they told you have to wait till 3 pm, after sometimes we asked where is our tent so they showed a tent which was covered with green sheet stating this is your tent, we were literally devastated as we didn't expect at all and the feeling was like expectations V/s Reality, they never showed these tents in their Insta page where people rely on social media to know the ambience. No view (for the tent we where alloted ) , the bathroom was not neat and I didn't felt like they showed in insta. Very bad experience we had with them. Conducting an event i don't know the experience, but if you're going there individually, I dont think choosing Munnar IWA would be a good choice (this comment is completely for girls and families) (bachelor's (boys) , you will get a tent near the mountain views, I don't know about food experience and camp fire because we cancelled the trip the moment we came to know the truth (tent covered with green sheet with no views at all) ) The photo posted by my friend is available below my comment- for girls...

We team of 20 members visited and had few moments **MISSED** I missed my favourite tshirt ๐Ÿ‘• .team munnar Iwa help me to find it ๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ(image) 1. Sunset (4:30- 7:00): they offer checkin from 3pm but they don't offer any Lunch so we should have our lunch beforehand itself , we will go as a set of people and the way, route, vibe worth each penny 2. Dinner(9:00): They provide rice ๐Ÿš its like Malabar biriyani (white biriyani) with a BBQ style chicken ๐Ÿ— and curry too 6/10, we should manage the place for sitting the area is too limited 3. Sunrise (4:30 am): We should wake up early morning to catch our Jeep if we can get our team and jeep as soon as possible we can sit in the edge (with your own risk) and avoid crowd please please please have thick jerkins, hoodies, jackets at any cost because it colds like hell. 4. Then the day is over after reaching back we will have our breakfast and we need to check out before 11. Consโญโญโ™“ *I dont suggest this place for family because there is no dedicated space for smoking and drinking so high chances of discomfort *The place doesn't have any aesthetics like welcome board, Some kind of attractive just tents and a view and we got tents in the corner.
