I recently had the pleasure of experiencing the enchanting beauty of The Mystic Mayapott in Kerala, a hidden gem nestled between Munnar and Thekkadi. Situated on a sprawling 150-acre cardamom plantation, the resort is perched atop a waterfall, creating a truly magical atmosphere.

An Absolutely outstanding Bungalaw Guest house perfectly located in the heart of a cardamom estate. Natural nest at its bes,t surrounded by the lush nature and its essence..

An hidden gem, known to little hence not crowd , a perfect getaway place with ultimate views and vibe!

We had a 2 night stay and had the best stay ever!

Helpful, friendly staff who go above and beyond to make sure you have the best time , especially Mr. Danesh and Mr. Muthu who were super helpful with promising us the best comfort and also providing details and arrangements for our visit to a private water falls (Triple water falls) / fishing , treking etc...and the food was the best part..The cook nailed it...Happy stomach Happy stay and Super happy Us!️

Unlike any other resorts/guest house they have maintained every little piece of nature around, an open bathroom with a huge rock inside was astonishing... Even the walls had rock extensions which is super cool..Nature at corner and the temperature dropped just below 20 during nights but the chills were screens due to the cold from the rain , wet rocks and the natural water falls stream flowing below our room!

Yes!, There is a natural stream which flows right below the rooms which orginates from the maintain!!!!!!!!!!!

It was a lovely suprise and the best view one can have from their bed!️️️️️️

We will definitely come back with friends/family and I would highly recommend this resort or a private guest house to be exact! You will not regret and forget this place for sure...Must visit place in kerala and you would think this is some place in the europe lol.

P.S. Its mostly rainy, so have some raincoats and always cold so make sure to pack some winter...

Mystic Mayapott, a bunglow estate away from the hustle, located in the middle of a 200 acre cardamom estate..the place is surrounded by lush green and a natural waterfalls flows through the property..the property has been constructed with minimal changes to the place as it was and so you could find a huge rock inside the open bathroom and even the bedroom! The place looks lovely at night and it's just the stream's sound you can hear all day!!

What we loved the most.. Ofcourse the entire property, the waterfalls, the neat and tidy rooms, happy faces of the 'butlers' all around..The way they have preserved the natural feel deserves much appreciation... Need to mention Mr.Danesh for being ready to serve us always !! Thank you :)

What we did not love! There are no sign boards and we found it very difficult to reach the place! Google map showed 1 km and we were literally circling around the estate trying to find the entrance..proper sign boards and instructions would be too helpful, in a case where even the Google maps are confused!!

The food was just average, with nothing out of the box. The menu provided in the website looked promising, but it wasnt satisfactory for us except for the biriyani for the lunch.

The check-in time is at 2.. we reached around 3 and had booked 3 rooms..but they had just started cleaning 2 rooms and we could check in to the 2/3 rooms only by 5pm..

Also, the place is not disable friendly..especially with mostly wet floors there weren't any hand rails to walk down the steps..
