Much awaited trip to Neelambari, we had dreamt of this gettogether much before the pandemic hit us, but delayed due to the current situations. And in 2021 new year day we took the decision to meet at neelambari on 14th Jan, 2021. We were a group of 8 couple, a very well coordinated, close knit family.
A home away from home. A beautiful, serene resort, surrounded by greenery, a beautiful place to spend if someone wants to get away with peaceful memories.
Ambience was irresistible and the rooms were very spacious and clean and cosy.
The host sreeni and his wife were lovely and friendly. The entire crew was very supportive and helpful and adapted the serenity of Sreeni and his wife. Food was just like a perfect homely meal and we all enjoyed it.
Traditionally maintained pond will attract anyone and can revive their childhood memories and can carry a lifetime memory.
A large area resort maintained pretty well, away from town and in the banks of arattupuzha.
The koothambalam has the perfect purity of a temple and is rich with beautiful mural paintings.
We enjoyed our stay at Neelambari and will refer to any guests who are willing to come to Kerala.

Read moreMy husband and I, along with our two small children had 3 wonderful days at Neelambari over the New Year. It’s been my happy place ever since. ||Srinini and Meera are wonderful hosts and were so kind to my kids. Meera even held my baby so that my husband and I could eat at the same time.💗||Neelambari is nestled in a beautiful rural village. On one side is a rice paddy and on the other is a gorgeous river. The rooms are very spacious and well appointed with A/C and very nice sheets and artwork. ||The gardens are beautiful. The food is so delicious. I highly recommend requesting their traditional Kerala style vegetarian meals, they’re out of this world. My son and I really enjoyed the natural swimming pool in the heat of the day. The Koodiyattam performance was one of the best live performances I’ve ever seen. I don’t think I breathed during the entire hour. My 4 year old and baby were also rivited! I also highly recommend the river boat tour. We took it late in the afternoon and it was magical. Also, just wandering around on our daily walks was really special. Watching breeze go through the rice field was hypnotic. I fell in love with the small cows with huge placid eyes, the sun dappled dirt roads adjacent to banana fields, the very faint music of people chanting morning prayers at sunrise. Everything about this place is wholesome, sacred, magical. ||I can’t wait to go back. ||Srinini and Meera are wonderful hosts and were so kind to my kids.
