As the director of the hotel, I saw two recent reviews from Mr Minaj and Mr Muhammed Nibras. They have put down 2 extremely vengeful reviews without a bit of truth to it that definitely seem to be written by ChatGPT. They both were part of the same group (you could check date of reviews posted) and pretends to put reviews for two different days. The incident unfolded as follows - my reception staff received a call at 11pm in the night from an agency that they need rooms for 16 people urgently. We only accommodate 3 people per room plus 1 person with an extra bed charged. So for 16 people, the least number of rooms they will have to purchase is 4 rooms. Since we had a more or less empty day that night in terms of occupancy, we were excited to welcome this sudden request of 4 rooms. However, this group arrived within half an hour by 11:30pm with 30 individuals. 30!!!! Not 16, but 30!! And we obviously cant accommodate 30 people in 4 rooms. But they went into the 4 rooms and refused to take any more rooms and said that they will sleep in 4 rooms only. They wont pay anymore money for extra rooms and wont vacate. My manager, my reception staff all tried to reason with them all through midnight that this is impossible to do but they kept up their unruly behaviour. We finally had to evict them when they refused to cooperate in any way and these two men who wrote these false reviews started to get violent and intimidating to our staff.
Any reader of this review can check our reviews on all platforms. We are not a perfect establishment and we are constantly improving our services and facilities. But one thing we never compromise on is interacting well with our guests. The claims of any of my staff/management being intoxicated or unprofessional to them is wildly untrue and defamatory. I challenge them to prove any of their accusations from this. I have proof of our front office CCTV footage which shows 30 people walk in and try to not vacate 4 rooms that were meant for a max of 16 people. I hope you mend your ways and become better humans instead of trying to tear down honest businesses that have done nothing...

However, we had been in touch with Mr. Martin and Mr. Eldo during our planning phase. They gave us usable information precisely, as many times as we called up. We knew we were heading for a place where the staff would be hospitable. We were not wrong. From the reception to the house keeping and room service to the restaurant, it looked like you are being served. ||The rooms are spacious and clean. They have all the amenities required for a week's stay. If anything is short, it is given immediately. We asked for a clothes rack, a genie just appeared with one.||The rooms at the back face a forest full of beauty. Beyond the forest one can see the mountains and also see the blue of the Nilgiris. The forest is full of birds that create a show for you anytime. Pretty moths and butterflies visit you all the time. The evening brings mist around your pretty nest here.||The restaurant is managed by Bijoy as the front man. Bijoy says a yes for every demand of yours. He has that very busy look around but is all yours too. Hog their Kerala thali. Kerala rice with sambar, rasam, vegetables of varied preparations, a chilly with a salty taste, a sweet dish to round it up. The restaurant is open throughiout the day and room service is prompt. Add their mixed pakodas to your list. The breakfast buffet is generous, south Indian dishes with curries to go, freshly squeezed fruit juice, eggs of your choice and the usual bread, butter an preserve. The dinner buffet is beckons you to it, after the day of sight seeing. There is lots here too.||Take a stroll of the resort, as soon as you can. You will see your very own woods, winding down to the pool. The zip line and the adventure activities are all here. Β Β Β Read moreI pulled into this hotel in order to take a break from my drive. Vaduvanchal is still a small town in Wayanad district and as I drove down from Devala side did not want to drive further to bigger towns like Kalpetta or Sulthan Bathery. The hotel is just a bit ahead (towards Sulthan Bathery) from the main junction and easily visible.||||The hotel check in process was simple and straight forward. The room I had been allotted was spacious and looked well maintained and air conditioned. It had a big clean bed, big cupboards and small table providing some snacks and a team maker. There was a working intercom and good LCD TV which provided most of the popular channels. Clean bath room and toilet with hot & cold running water was available along with toiletries.||||The best part of the room was the wide window at the far end which offered very clear view of the mountains. The view is really good especially during rain fall or with mists/fogs. The sad part was that the window did not seem to be open able, and the rooms did not have a balcony as well. The rooms also had Wi-Fi connectivity but did not find it really fast.||||I was in for two surprises; both related to food. The hotel kitchen seems to close down a bit early in the evening (08:00PM) and when I called into place my dinner order I was in for a shock. Luckily the kitchen staff managed to make up some simple items and I did not have to walk around the small town in rain looking for a restaurant. Next day; I was informed that breakfast would only be starting at 09:00AM which again was a bit late when compared to other hotels. As I wanted to start early, I gave this a miss. But "forewarned is forearmed" and this problem can be easily overcome with some advance planning.||||I would recommend this hotel, especially for tourists or travellers who do not want to stay in crowded places...
