OYO 14976 Ritu Beach Resort — Hotel in Kerala

Worst experience in my trip to Kerala. It's a bit aloof from the city crowd area. I did booking for this hotel through OYO app. To my surprise when I reached the resort I came to know owner is not allowing customers who have done payment n booking through OYO. Though he was ready to provide room on cash Payment on same rate of Oyo booking. Unfortunately no assistance provided by Oyo and we ended up hunting for new accommodation at 9:00PM. In Alleppey avoid doing bookings through OYO as most of the resort members don't accept OYO bookings. As informed by most of the resort managers and owners OYO haven't done there payments since past 6-8 months. As per them OYO is Jholler company and looting money from customers as well from vendors. They are using customers money and assuring that they will refund it by 8-14 days which they are not doing and using...

The stay was kind of ok.. We booked online via OYO.. But when we tried to checkin the hotel denied us the online payment, however requested us for cash on the same payment.. We had to get the assistance of the oyo abt the booking confirmation problem.. As the hotel and Oyo had some cold wars we were entangled to suffer the money loss.. We had no option to checkin the roorm as it was late night.. The hotel didn't provode us with breakfast as it was mentioned on OYO..Their was water shortage and the room floor wad dusty. The comfort of bed was good but the staffs were drunk...

The experience was good especially the manager Mr.Saif. it's very close to the beach, silent and peaceful, pocket friendly, large spacious rooms and a small garden to relax. However, it's far from the main road about 3kms, in house food option not available ( but they bring the food from outside), our toilet seat was broken and while we visited renovation work was going on. Still if I decide on a holiday to alappuzha I will be staying at...
