Pranav Beach Resort — Hotel in Kerala

We had a great fun at Pranav Beach Resort, resort management had already planned lot of surprises before we reached the resort.|Had booked this resort for 2 days, 6 rooms for 6 families.|Disclaimer: Please interpret on your own for few points based on your IQ.||1. On the first day we were asked to park our car on the public road.|a. So we can take good pictures of a combination of car and beach.|b. There was so much traffic on this road, the moving vehicles were only an inch distance from the parked vehicle. This gave us an opportunity to keep thinking about our cars whole evening.|2. They had organized a marriage in the vehicle parking area.|a. We got free Orchestra listening to various songs.|b. 1000+ people visited this marriage (You can imagine how the crowd was) because of this many tourists closed their room doors without relaxing in the resort area (Outside room). By closing the door we have no opportunity for mosquitos to go inside the room.|c. They arranged free welcome drink and marriage food but we didn’t take because of our Ethical principles.|3. They arranged physical activities:|a. No hot water for bath as they are dependent on Solar. This gave an opportunity to carry our own bucket to their Kitchen to get some hot water from the heater.|4. Visit to Kitchen:|a. When I visited the Kitchen for taking hot water, gave an opportunity to see their Kitchen completely which was messy.|b. A guy from Toilet directly went to clean the dishes. (Luckily our plates were already ready)|5. Gave a thought to buy the Food from outside:|a. Only 2 types for breakfast.|b. This gave an opportunity to order food from outside even in holiday’s.|6. Accommodation:|a. They call it as heritage room, it’s better to change the room name to something else.|7. Opportunity for cleaning:|a. The post marriage function it was a total messy all over the resort. It was just like a bus stand, all messy where you can see left out foods, smelly and they were still cleaning till we left the resort after 2 days.|b. If you are too passionate about cleaning I am sure you would have taken broom stick to clean.||Just to appreciate:|• The lady in the Kitchen and staff were bit helpful.|• Finally after going thru this disaster, having a conversation/fight with Manager it was agreed for Rs.3000/- discount for total 6 room.||I strongly recommend this place when you don’t have any place at all, and desperate to visit Kannur.|There are lot of scope for improvement for this resort, better to fix it than running the same for the...

I recently had the unfortunate experience of staying at the Pranav Beach Resort, and I must say it was a truly disappointing and unpleasant stay. I would strongly advise against anyone considering this resort for their vacation.

Firstly, the resort advertised something, which seemed like a promising feature for a relaxing stay. However, upon arrival, we were given servant quarters what can only be described as a dingy, cramped room that was far from what was promised. The room was tiny and lacked basic amenities.

The hygiene standards at Pranav Beach Resort were absolutely abysmal. It was evident that the rooms hadn't been cleaned in ages. There was a thick layer of dust on every surface, and it was clear that no dusting had been done for a very long time. The bedsheets were stained and appeared to be unchanged. When we requested clean blankets, the staff brushed off our concerns, claiming that it wouldn't be cold. This disregard for our comfort was shocking.

To make matters worse, there was an extra dirty mattress left on the bed, which added to the overall uncleanliness of the room. It was evident that they had not bothered to properly prepare the room for our stay.

Another issue that I found extremely frustrating was the lack of basic amenities. There was no dustbin in the room, which meant we had to collect our trash in a bag and carry it with us until we found a place to dispose of it. Additionally, there were no curtains on the windows, which compromised our privacy.

Overall, my experience at Pranav Beach Resort was nothing short of a nightmare. The false advertising, poor hygiene, lack of basic amenities. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere for accommodations if you value cleanliness, comfort, and a pleasant vacation experience.
