The Pug Marks is a great place to stay. The property itself is pretty big and offers various activities including a watch tower.There are just 6 cottages which adds to the calm and natural experience. The Cedar Suites are the best rooms but if you are travelling with old parents then they may find difficult to climb the stairs.

The recreational facilities, makes this a perfect place for bachelors and couples as well. Unfortunately, the same recommendation cannot be extended to individual travelers. The room was neat and clean .The ambience is truly fantastic. “The room was in ample size, the bed super comfy. The staff was very caring.  I couldn’t have asked for more. Firm double beds,wooden dresser. I love the plantation around, and the forest surrounding it, and I just can't forget the moment I saw an elephant on the way to the resort. The dinner with rice and curries and yes with chicken on the thali. Every food savored nice. The resort is situated in a very isolated place from the main road, a very calm and serene environment the resort is a decent place for a budget family traveler, and there are family rooms aswell. There is a restaurant which serves some good homemade organic Kerala cuisine, dishes are limited and prepared as per order. The entire resort is full of greenery and makes you feel like you are in middle of a forest. The staff are very courteous and they know about the places around the resort. Shinoj, the resort manager is a helpfull person who can guide you on some amazing places in and around the resort. Kuruva Dweep is very close and the main attraction.

Please ensure your presence at the resort before sunset as you may find wild animals after 7 pm which are very dangerous. . There were no delay while checking-in and checking-out. The place is an ideal getaway for relaxation. Thanks for...

I searched this place online nd liked it on the first look itself we have a big family 19 of us so we booked d entire place for 3 days. For ur kids pool is a must so this was d deciding factor for booking this place |Mr Gopa Varma the owner of the place was awesome right from planning stage he guided me on the phone not only for the resort booking but also the surrounding places especially booking the nagarhole safari nd our travel arrangements to nd fro from Kannur International airport ||Kannur Airport is conveniently located approx 2hr 30min ( while going uphill is 3 hrs) from the property |rail station is Kannur railway station which is 3 hr 30mins approx ||Now coming to the property it is well |maintained |Huge property nd literally its a jungle stay full of greenary arnd ||The pool is superbly maintained nd will give competition to any 5 star hotel nd is decent size with separate kids pool||While booking pls speak to Mr Varma as couple of rooms nd the tree house are not meant for senior citizens with walking disablities |The property has total 6 cottage options |3 AC cottages |2 Non Ac cottages on the 1st floor|Nd 1 State of the art Tree house with a huge Jacuzzi ||This place is meant for ppl who want to stay away from the husle busle of city life nd are adventurous |a few activities are there onsite like cylcing, archery etc |local sight seeing options are decent but one can just stay inside d property for 2 days easily without going out nd just enjy the place ||No words are kind enough to match Mr Gopa Varma's warm hospitality he went out of his way to accommodate out last minute changes |The local food preparations were awesome nd all of us thoroughly enjyed d stay |definitely recharged us for the entire year ||Highly recommended for...

We had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful resort in the heart of the Wayanad Kerala forest, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the warm and generous host who made us feel right at home.

The resort itself was absolutely stunning, with beautiful cottages that were spacious, comfortable, and well-appointed. The amenities were fantastic, including a sparkling pool that was perfect for a refreshing swim on a hot day, and a lovely barbecue area where we were able to enjoy some delicious grilled meals.

We had the most delicious food. Every meal was an absolute delight, with the most delicious flavors and fresh ingredients that were expertly prepared.

But what really set this resort apart was the incredible host. Throughout our stay, the host was incredibly attentive and dedicated to ensuring that my trip was the best trip ever. Whether it was recommending local attractions and activities, booking the tickets for us to visit Kabini island, or simply making sure that we had everything we needed, they went above and beyond to make sure that we were completely satisfied.

Overall, I cannot recommend this resort highly enough. Whether you're looking for a relaxing getaway in a beautiful natural setting, or simply want to enjoy some delicious food and great amenities, this is the perfect place to stay.
