Riveria Portico by ohstayz — Hotel in Kerala

We had our daughters 2nd birthday organised at this location. We had inquiries made with regard to the food and the chiller as we had an overnight stay. We had our cake and other desserts for the event placed inside the chiller. Unfortunately the chiller had no effect on the cake it all melted down. And when we saw the chiller it was filthy - totally un- higenic. It had dead insects and was water logged. The food served was not great. There was several instance where the power went off and they complained it was because of the overload because we used two spot lights. The water in the pool is just pumped from the lake besides and kilos of chlorine is just dumped into it Not advised for kids and babies. The hall inside has just one fan. And if u plan an indoor event for a group of 10 or more people make sure you order tonnes of additional fans or tower acs as the temperature gets really hot and humid inside. This event was in June, Which was a rainy day. I can't even imagine the situation when it's summer. And yes in addition to all this the place was swamped with millions of flies and the property does not have any control of the situation.

May be we had a huge expectation of the place from their Instagram profile and reviews. We had not visited the place before hand before we booked so i totally take the blame. I recently had the pleasure of staying at this holiday property, and happier with my experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a beautifully maintained property.

Well maintained fully furnished house with a pool. Calm and Quiet location, Perfect place for a gang of 15-20 members(even more than that).They have 6 rooms which can accommodate extra beds. A common dining area where the food is served is separate. They have a great garden area where some small functions can be arranged including campfire. Pool was also well maintained and could easily accomodate 10-15 members at a time. Thanks to Ebin and Jino, Ebin was a wonderful host and was very helpful throughout the stay and Jino coordinated well.

Good food and it is prepared on pre order and served on time. We also had a camp fire in the premises. Being on the lake side ambience is excellent.

Good Parking Area is also available at the property.
