Silver Oak Plantation Bungalow — Hotel in Kerala

What a beautiful villa, it is as beautiful as it looks in the images ! ||||The travel to munnar is not an easy one, and this villa is 50 kms before munnar, hidden between dense cardamon plantation and hills! ||||The house is very tastefully made, has three bed rooms. two of them share common wash room though. the other one has open shower as well.first floor has very nice patio, all done in wood.||||The expanse of property is immense. there is lake next to house, that can be viewed from two bedrooms, guests can go boating and fishing there. ||They take guests on a jeep safari to adjoining hill tops, which is a wonderful ride, passing through long expanse of grasses. ||the property is housed within cardamon gardens on front side. They grow and process cardamons themselves.||The staff is very very co-operative. The food is so tasty that one ends up over eating.||The early mornings are so beautiful, there is no other sound than chirping of birds. Its such a wonderful feeling, perfect silence.||||one can spend very quality time with friends and family. Please dont go if you are looking for crowd, because there wont be any other tourist, or even a shop nearby. But all your needs will be very...

We were about 6 friends stayed for 2 nights in the Silver Oak plantation Bungalow located among the 1500 Acres Kailasapara Cardomom Estates near Nedumkandam in Kerala. They also own the Carmelia Haven Resort near Vandanmedu and also operate a fleet of luxury house boats in the name of Spice Routes. The location of the bungalow will be stunning and its architecture will be modern unlike other century old British Built plantation bungalows. The interior also will be modern and comfortable. They do serve homemade food for all meals, which was good with huge portions of non.veg foods. The Bungalow incharge Mr.Bibin took good care of us. The adventure Jeep ride to the Kailasapara is something one shouldn't miss. We can also walk through the plantation. We can also go for boating & fishing in the lake The bathroom has caught some mold in the walls due to the rain and it has to be cleaned also the shower pressure has to be improved for better experience. Overall nice place to spend some quality time...

Terrible experience. Folks pls ensure your booking is confirmed before you even visit this place. I had made my booking thru MMT and luckily had called the property to make a small amendment. As per the guy who took the phone the property is booked for someone else and is not available for the next 1 week. Also as per him MMT just publishes the property just to increase their traffic.. :) sounds a little funny though. Before hanging up a piece of advice from that guy (no apologies, no regrets.. just a piece of valuable advice from him. :) )" always call up the hotel for confirmation even if you get a confirmation from MMT," ) Imagine a family's situation after traveling 500 km and reaching there to see that its occupied. such resorts should be blacklisted. hope my review saves...
