This review is going to be long one. Excellent location but there were multiple small incidents where our experience was below expectations from a 5 star rated hotel. I stayed there for 3 nights. Let me summarize my experience in points. Check-In experience: Not good at all. We reached at around 12:30 pm check in time was 2 pm. I did not get any call to check what time I was expected to reach the hotel . I got call next day showing that they did not know I had already checked in on 27th 😕. We were ok to wait as we reached early. We were told to have lunch and the room will be ready by 2 as guest at checked out at 12. So we went to have Lunch. But to our surprise we were made to wait for another 1 hour after lunch. ROOM Condition: Finally around 3 we had room allocated and we got another surprise. The room had water seepage marks and it was looking so bad. I was surprised that a 5 Star hotel actually had a room and it was allocated to guests in that condition. I called the Manager. He initially told me there were other guests who had used the same room but they did not complain 😕. I was firm We needed to change. He then proposed an alternative room which we changed. Restaurant Service: We used the restaurant for lunch and dinner almost every day. Service was not at all good. Staff really need some training. It was chaotic service most of the time. Room service response: i had an issue with AC as it did not have a swing option. I asked the AC engineer to send and change the direction as it was coming directly on my head. He came checked and told me he can change the direction and he will come back after one hour. He never turned up. We had to sleep in the opposite direction all 3 nights.

They have Jacuzzi in the room but we felt it was a major disappointment. Water in Jacuzzi was not looking clean and taken 45 min to fill and then call the front desk which will take anywhere between 10 min to 25 min to start the Power in Jacuzzi

We had few other issues as well but this are small small things which changes the experience especially when you have paid so much.

Good things: Property is really good.. wonderful location. Close proximity to the beach and backwater. They have finishing, Kayaking and other indoor games options. The swimming pool is also really good. Though we had issues staff was co operative and helpful.
